12035 S Dixie Hwy # 200, PinecrestIt’s hard to put into words the care we have received at South Miami Vets and Pets. ”We” includes our 6 year old Yorkie, Leo, and my family.
Leo was bit by a large dog on a walk in the neighborhood and suffered multiple bite wounds. Over the last 3 months, Leo has been a daily visitor. He had multiple surgical procedures and daily bandage changes, as well as numerous prescriptions. He had little to no appetite which was coupled with a persistent fever.
I’m happy to say that after some real touch-and-go periods, Leo seems to have turned the corner and is on his was to recovery. The care my family and I received from not just one, but the entire team at the clinic, goes well beyond what I look for as “good customer service“. They all truly care.
Dr Diaz and Dr Acevedo have built an amazing team. The care for Leo and the support for our family has been a special experience that we will always remember.

Banfield Pet Hospital
12215 S Dixie Hwy, PinecrestHands down best banfield location in Miami. They gave me a in room appointment the same day I called, they where super attentive to my dog needs, nurses where super nice and the dr answered all my questions and the vet is super tidy and taken care of you can really tell they make an effort to have everything looking nice for patients. I have other banfields that are closer but I’m definitely driving to this location again.

9479 S Dixie Hwy, PinecrestThis place is on FIRE! If you love tacos run to Tacos & Cantina La Potranca in Pinecrest across Dadeland mall. Come on Taco Tuesdays because tacos are $2.70 selected tacos. The BEST tacos are Tacos al Pastor and Carne Asada. I also highly recommend ordering La quesabirria and if you have room to order dessert order the churros! Ask for Santiago or Danielle, they are so attentive and provide amazing customer service.

They provided delicious cafecito, pastries, and sandwiches that our members absolutely enjoyed throughout the event. We received so many great comments about the quality and how fresh and flavorful everything was.
