I went into Dillard’s simply to make a return and had the absolute pleasure of meeting Maria in the lingerie department. What started as a routine errand turned into one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a very long time.
Maria was friendly, kind, courteous, and genuinely complimentary. Her level of care and attention was far beyond what I expected. When I realized after getting home that I had purchased the wrong size, I called the store—and Maria didn’t hesitate. She personally gathered the correct size and set it aside behind the counter for me to pick up on Sunday.
That kind of service is rare these days. Maria went above and beyond, and I am truly grateful for her kindness and professionalism. Dillard’s is fortunate to have someone like her, and I hope she receives the recognition she deserves.”

There was a cardboard toy bird I was looking to buy because it had strong sentimental value to me, and they told me they didn’t have any left, but offered the one on display to me as a gift and said “Merry Christmas!” Their customer service during checkout and while I was shopping is worth continuing to come back for every gift-giving occasion.”
