“Stopped by to pick up some Dill popcorn. It was delicious with a slight aftertaste. Browsed the shop and purchased a bar of handmade soap along with some herbs for my tea.This store is newly opened in this location. It has a sister store in Georgia. The shop is small and cannot get many people in at the same time. It is full of a lot of homemade items that I like. They also have gems, sage, bladderwack tea ( and various other types of herbal tea), herbs for adding to oils, oils, and a host of other items. I like the friendly atmosphere of this business. I will definitely return and share this business with friends.”

“I know this is completely subjective, but, in my opinion, these are the best smoothies in Jacksonville. I love the texture here at smoothie King. Also, I love the strawberry gladiator with bananas and strawberries. It is so yummy! I try to get one at least, a couple times a month. Also, I really like their new peanut butter oriented açai bowl. “Listed this lovely location yesterday and ordered 3 smoothies. The employees greeted me with such enthusiasm and gave me the run down about the new spring drinks they were currently offering. I was sold on the Spring Bliss which was made w/ strawberry Kiwi Breeze, mango, pineapple, & raspberry. It was SO GOOD! I also got my normal which was a Hulk Chocolate w/ peanut butter added and a Pineapple Surf smoothie. This location was very clean, organized, & stocked with plenty of merchandise. “I have to drive quite a distance past several other grocery stores and that is because I like the food.However. Every time I go there, something is out of stock or a freezer is broken or they don't sell it at this store.The veg are extra fresh and last much longer in the fridge than the regular grocery stores.The fruit actually tastes of something. The bread is quite good, but trying to be a little you fancy while neglecting the basics. That isn't a baguette. Those aren't croissants.I really really wish they had pasture raised products. I think other whole foods do.For example, corn fed chicken is not a good thing that should be shouted about as a feature. Chicken are omnivore grazers, so a pot of organic corn every day is not what chicken want and not what I want. It's just another way to get rid of an excess of corn in the farming industry and whole foods should know better.A good experience most times but their choices are questionable sometimes, based on the brand.”

“Grassroots is a great market that is focused on health and wellness. The line of products they carry are all very good quality and value. As a bonus to their store, they craft delicious smoothies and juices. I really enjoy stopping in for specialty products and grabbing a smoothie to go. It is nice to have small markets like this in the community because it makes it easier to access quality foods, beverages and supplements without having to drive all the way to Whole Foods or other stores that are similar. The staff is very nice and helpful as well.”
