About Magnuson Hotel Jacksonville Downtown
The Magnuson Hotel Jacksonville Downtown is an affordable place that offers good value for the price. Many guests describe it as a great, super nice, and surprisingly nice hotel. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable with a great AC and comfortable beds. Good amenities include a breakfast with waffles and on-site laundry facilities. The staff receives mixed feedback; many find them very polite, professional, and helpful, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, one staff member was reported to have a terrible attitude and negative energy. The building shows some age, with bathrooms noted as a bit old and needing updating, and minor issues like loose power plugs. There is no pool on site. It serves as a reliable, no-deposit option for travelers, including those in a last-minute pinch, with some guests noting new improvements over time.
