“Stayed for 2 nights being that a friend was close by. Stayed at the Holiday Inn next door last year, but this was over $100 cheaper for the 2 night stay. Figured it couldn't be bad, I was right! Nice rooms, clean bathroom and pool area. Good breakfast. Well worth the stay!”

“Wife and I stayed here for two nights for a long weekend. The location is great if you need to be downtown. Very walkable to almost anything in the downtown area. The water taxi's are easily accessible as long as you know the schedule. The room was very clean and surprisingly quiet for a hotel that was packed during our stay. you may want to bring a pillow as the ones in the room are not the best, but that may just be me. Our main issue was the elevator situation. There could be significant wait and they seemed to not be running as efficiently as needed for a place this size. If you left something in your room, there was no quick trip back to grab it. The best part of this hotel was Jade who works the front desk. Jade is hands down why, in a world of AI and robots, you cannot replace an actual human being. She was so helpful and kind. Anytime we walked through the lobby she stopped what she was doing and came over to say hello and asked how we were. Jade made this giant hotel friendly and comfortable. We would easily stay here again if we were attending anything in the downtown area.”

“I travel to Jax often to visit friends and for work and this was my first time staying here. I initially booked thru Expedia however they couldn't pull up my reservation at check in. The front desk staff was super helpful and was able to book me a room cheaper thru the front desk. Room was clean, AC worked great, staff I encountered were very helpful and parking was easy and accessible to the rooms. This is a great area right off I- 295. Plenty of food options nearby as well as gas stations, grocery stores and other shops you might need. Overall a great location. I was a bit nervous being so close to the interstate but not a difficult stay at all and very affordable. Will definitely stay here again.”

Free full breakfast served 7-930am, mini fridge with freezers in room, comfy beds, coin laundry on our floor, ice machine on our floor, nice and clean outdoor pool, fantastic location near to major interstates, super friendly staff. Only downside was the mildew smell in the room. Holiday Inn Express still gives the old school hotel experience without the huge price tag.”

“The breakfast was great with longer hours for service, IMO. Good selection of food. Please do better with the home fries or don't serve them, though. King suite had ample space and clean. Door wouldn't lock because of mechanical issue and Jane at front desk was quick to resolve the issue and move me next door. LPT, always make sure door locks before unpacking the entire suitcase & puttingclothes in drawes. Location was convenient. Fresh brew on demand coffee all day, is a nice touch. I'd stay again.”

There is a significant difference between the two, and this staff truly provides world-class hospitality. The front desk representative was exceptionally approachable, courteous, and easygoing, which made for a very welcoming experience. The van driver was also polite and professional. Most importantly, the breakfast was one of the best I have ever experienced at a hotel. I would absolutely stay here again anytime I am in Jacksonville. The staff and overall experience truly stood out, and I highly recommend this hotel.”

“Excellent customer service. Ashley got us a room late yesterday and checked us in quickly. She was so kind and helpful and I really appreciated that. Room is clean and the AC works great. Only minor issue is a slight fragrance in the room, not overwhelming but noticeable and the sink stopper was not staying open so I had to prop it open. I would definitely stay here again.”

“This motel is family-run, and they are quite pleasant. The front office always smells like a restaurant (so delicious!) The only thing I didn’t like was that there was no “do not disturb” hanger for the door. I have to inject two medications daily, and they have to stay refrigerated. I’m uncomfortable leaving it in hotel rooms with housekeeping in general. I’m always worried they’ll see needles and automatically think something illegal is going on. Also, if it goes missing, I can’t just replace the prescriptions. Nothing about this location made me more nervous than others, though. I saw another review that there was no soap. There were soap dispensers in my room, and it smelled very good. I had my own toiletries with me, though. The room seemed slightly damp, but that has been a common theme among every hotel I’ve stayed at this price point with my reduced per diem on this contract. I’m not sure what the pavilion is at the back of the property, but it’s kind of a cool area. A pool would be really awesome here, too. There’s a bar or restaurant or something in the front parking lot. I don’t drink, so I didn’t check it out. The Wi-Fi was fast, and they had satellite TV with many on-demand premium options included. There’s breakfast in the morning, but I typically am up late working so I never made it down to try.”

“This place should be at a 5+ stars hotel. Kim and Joseph are amazing workers they do their best at keeping smile on people's faces. The housekeeper does an amazing job at keeping the rooms clean. They have an awesome managers Rhonda. If you need anything I mean anything at all no matter what it is, they all do their best at helping out. Team work makes the dream work but in this case they are all family.”

“I am literally in tears as I type this. I stayed here after attending a funeral in Daytona. Drove up because I am departing from the Jacksonville airport. I walked in, sad and weary, and Santrel could not have been more warm and welcoming. She was like sunshine and a warm hug from a friend. Then, I entered the rear of the hotel (closest to my room) and Lisa saw me struggling and she opened the door. We chatted for a few moments and she was lovely. Then, hungry, I went to the on site restaurant and Holly was so kind. This is not a fancy hotel…I have literally stayed in 5* properties; this is an airport hotel that needs updating. But my experience and the quality of the staff was 5-star!! Rarely have I encountered such kind people. Phenomenal. ❤ (Also, great location.)”
