The lodge is noted for its quiet atmosphere with not much traffic noise and its close proximity to attractions in the area. Guests should be aware that the base is very spread out and not walkable; having a personal vehicle is essential as there are no rental cars, Uber access, or reliable taxi services on base. Overall, it is great accommodations for an overnight or short stay.

I have stayed here a few times when traveling and it's nice, very clean, great staff and close proximity to most attractions in Duval County

Great value, cozy, and clean with nice breakfast included. MR RICH made the reservation smooth and all interactions with staff members were very pleasant.

A wonderful place. Not much traffic noise, kitchen area, nicely kept rooms and awesome staff. Should my family and I come back to the Jacksonville area, we will definitely stay here again.
