“Clean and friendly environment and staff. Great Doctors but disappointed in one tech who trimmed my dogs nails way to short causing them to bleed. He had never given anyone trouble trimming his nails through all his 8 years! There was no apology or anything (not even telling me she had cut his quicks) other than telling me that my dog gave the tech some trouble. He will not be going back.”

“My two kitties were in for their annual checkup. Staff is courteous, loving to animals and did their best to make frightened kitties feel safe and at ease. Listened to what you tell them about animals health and made recommendations to resolve any issues. The biggest of course was the treats during and after exam, and all the petting and petting and petting while all the invasive stuff was going on. This is the first time my little female kitty was not terrified and she is 15years old. Thank you Chimney Lakes Animal Hospital. Was easy to get an appointment and prices were reasonable.”

“Words can never express how amazing Dr November is. When our 2 year old cat was diagnosed with what we suspected to be cancer Dr November was always there for us. She would take all my phone calls and respected my choices along the way. Last night we said goodbye to our baby girl Salem. Dr Novemberwent went above and beyond yet again. I have never seen a vet euthanize so peacefully and respectfully. It was like Salem was sleeping. Dr November never left our side when we asked if she could stay. While we grieved. She came back multiple times reassuring us we did the right thing. She even gave me a hug and walked us out. I have never grieved that hard in my life. Idk what I would've done without her. This place is magical and I will always hold them dear in my heart. Fly high baby girl. We love and miss you.”

“The second experience there, with my animal was much better than the first.Some things to keep in mind, if you have a sensory processing deficit:1. Get there early enough and with someone to where one of you can take the seat next to the chairs with the natural light in front of the check in desk.2. Be sure vet records are sent from a previous vet before the appointment.3. Write down everything you need to convey, in case there is a barking dog, like this morning (I don’t blame the dog, I was stressed, too). But, without writing everything down in advance, I would have forgotten important details. The dog who was barking was adorable.4. Be sure to wear sensory “dampening” gear you normally need at a Walmart.5. If it is busy in the lobby, ask if you can sit outside. One lady was kind enough to do that today.They will treat you with understanding if they know where you are coming from. I look forward to bringing my Luna (bulldog) and Golden Snitch here again. I hope they will let me drop him off even if he doesn’t need to be sedated. The lobby was much more calm at that pick up time than when I brought him in the mid afternoon.”

“Initially I was going to give a one star because of Dr. WILSON and the recent experience with her, but I can't do that to Jax community pet clinic, because the rest of the staff is amazing. Dr. Trotter, Dr.G and Dr. Whiting and others are great. So I give the vets office as a whole a 5 star.....*****However, I'd give Dr. WILSON negative stars if I could, below I explain why......**Recently my almost 3 year old chocolate lab and I had a horrible experience. So, before I went on vacation with my fiance and pups, our chocolate lab Remington had to go in for update on annual vaccines (January 2024). This time he was seen by Dr. WILSON, I'm assuming she's fairly new to the team. So anyway, Remington got his annual shots then Dr. WILSON came to talk with me, she proceeded to tell me that Remington has a heart murmur, then she said "it worries me because he was just here in May of 2023 and a heart murmur wasn't noted in chart, so it's something new" so then I got really concerned. I asked if the heart could sound different because of stress and I was told "no, it's congenital" which then really concerned me. So we then discussed what the next steps were, I was told they could do an xray for close to $300 but if that didn't show anything the next step would be an EKG which was estimated to cost about $480 with sedation. So I said can we just start with EKG because I'd rather start with what's gonna show us more. So after that news the vet tech came into room, so I asked if it was okay that Remington still travel and if his activity needed to be limited, I was told No.So we get back from vacation and I get the EKG scheduled, dropped Remington off at vet at 815am on February 7th, 2024, so I called at noon to see if he was ready, I was told to pick up him up at 2pm. So 2 pm comes around I go in to get him and Dr. Trotter told me that herself and Dr. G listened to Remingtons heart and couldn't hear a murmur, she said I don't know if maybe he was stressed and that's what Dr. WILSON heard, but his heart sounds great. I was furious at this point, but I kept my cool. Then I said are you serious, I said I specifically asked if stress could cause heart to sound different and I was told "no its congenital". Then I said so I paid $485 for a misdiagnosis? I am grateful that there is nothing wrong with Remingtons heart, but it's insane because I can only assume Dr. WILSON doesn't know the difference between the stress sound of a heart and a heart murmur, especially considering most pets stress when at the vet, my point is, if she examines pets she should know the difference between stress and a murmur....So Dr. WILSON will never touch my pets again, I am so disappointed ?”

“This was our second visit to the Animal Hospital. I called Monday about our 16 year old dog making wheezing sounds, shaking and being lethargic. I was thinking the worst and after I explained her symptoms I said “we just don’t want her to be in pain”. Again thinking the worst. The young lady asked if I could bring her the next day first appointment and we would take it step by step (very calming & caring).When we went in and she was evaluated… she has an upper respiratory infection (most likely) and they offered for us to try medicine to see if it works prior to doing labs & x rays (again 16 year old pup). They were caring, kind and gave us confidence in our decision to try medicine first without making us feel bad. IThe following day we received a call from the Doctor checking on our pup. We would not hesitate to recommend them.”
