“I wanted to take a moment to recognize some truly wonderful people at this 7-Eleven.

I’ve been coming here for many years because my sister lives on the island, and I used to work here as a pastry chef doing catering. Over the years I’ve had both good and bad experiences, just like anywhere else, but I know that doesn’t reflect the owners or the employees who truly care.

A special thank you to the cashier who recently noticed that I accidentally dropped $122. I had no idea I had dropped it. That money wasn’t even mine—it was meant to repay someone who had bought something for my sister. Because of her honesty, I got every dollar back. I wish I knew her name because she deserves to be recognized. Thank you for being such an honest and caring person.

I’d also like to thank the gentleman who works the afternoon an older gentleman He’s been there for many years and has always been friendly and respectful. He remembers my family and has known my children for a long time. It’s always nice to see a familiar face with a smile.

Finally, I’d like to thank the owner’s wife. I don’t know her name, but she has always been kind and respectful whenever I’ve seen her. She has always been so sweet to my children, and it shows that she has raised a wonderful family with great values. Please let her know she is appreciated.
