“love coming to this location; it’s a small building, but the service is pleasant and fast. Unfortunately, there are some customers who get upset when they are informed of the rules. There was a woman with a dog—presumably an emotional support animal—that was growling the entire time, as well as a gentleman with a service dog; the place was packed. The postal clerk explained to the woman that only service dogs are permitted and she gave him a hard time just for explaining the rules.”

“Suggest you ignore the 1-star reviews from people who were annoyed that this is a retail post office. The USPS web site could probably be clearer, but that's not this location's fault.The location is a 5-star package center, where you can pick up packages that are being held or couldn't be delivered. In my case, my wife sent a surprise care package that was accidentally marked for being returned to her. Thanks to the efforts of Miss Ross at this location, the package was redirected back to me, much to my wife's delight.Knowing how much this meant to my wife, Miss Ross went above and beyond to give me daily updates until delivery was certain. Hats off to her! ??”
“I received wonderful service from Kendra. She informed me about something that I was mailing. She was such great help and had a smile on her face while doing so. This is one of the best services I’ve ever received from USPS in general. Monday morning and such great customer service. Thank you Kendra!!!!”

“Second day in a row. I found another amazing employee at this post office. Her name is Tiana and she is the supervisor. Had another issue with a package that was not delivered because of an apartment number. I showed up after hours and she was getting ready to go home. She took the time to go inside and get the package for me before it was returned to sender. Thank you, Tiana! You're the best!”
“Parking is limited at the South Miami Post Office. Only 2 staff were working when went there. Always a line of people waiting to be served, but it seems to move quickly.”
“Every time I go, they’re usually a line, but not too large. It was pretty fast. The clerks know what they’re doing. And they redirect you if anything is wrong. They are very, very experienced clerks. However, people tend to be very snobby at them. They are a great teamwork together.”

“I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here. The clerk that works Saturdays is so friendly and has helped me to save money, too, when I went for a pricier envelope unknowingly. Sometimes there’s a wait — that’s life! Nowhere near as long of a wait as in my local NYC post office. If you are kind and friendly to service people, they are usually kind and friendly back.”

“The ONLY reason this location along with any other location is getting 5 stars is because of Ms. Marsha! What an amazing lady!!! In all my life I have never had a good experience in any locations! It’s as if they intentionally hire the most ugly-hearted people to disrespect you, however, Marsha is as good as they come! She is compassionate, hard-working, and so respectful - she really has that old school mentality and work ethic! She should be the example of what USPS should be hiring!”

“I went during the weekend to drop off a package I found it to be unkept grass has not been cut it looked abandoned. I did see a security guard outside I couldn’t drop off my package because there was paper on top of the drop off.”
