“Nice store to stretch out the dollars. If you are visiting town and wants to bring gifts to the kids you can find a good prices there. Also, things for the house, electrics, snacks, etc. There is a reward store card that offers more discounts.”

“At times this location looks as though a bomb went off. However at other times some sections are completely cleared out and we learn from the team that someone came in and bought it all so it seems that there may be some eBay sellers who come in on Sundays. I'm talking all squish mellows gone.”
“The manager Charles went above and beyond to help us find a product, although they ended up not having anymore available. He was cleaning the store but still maintained communication. I would recommend this store, it's huge and there are so many great items to choose from.”

“I absolutely love shopping here. I bought a pair of pink Bluetooth headphones for $5, and it was the best I spent. They're perfect. They keep a charge for a long time, and they have a built-in speaker. The item selections are great. If you have questions, the staff is very welcoming and helpful.”
“Great location with acceasible parking. Very friendly and hard working staff. The store is clean and well organized in comparison to other local dollar general stores in the area. They have a wide variety of items at great prices. If you download their app, you have access to all the discounts right at your fingertips. They have a convenient self-checkout line; however, the staff is more than happy to do the checkout for you.
Shout out to Ali, who is friendly and efficient at the cash register. She also does her job with a smile and that makes a huge difference when it comes to shopper experience. Chris, the manager, strives to make things right by the customers. He does his job well and treats the customer as if he was in the customer's shoes. I learned about the app discounts through him. Great employee to have taking care of your store.
Please note: parking and surrounding areas get very crowded during school pick-up time, mostly by parents waiting for their children to come out of school.

One family was using both fitting Roos and without a complaint they were paying attention to their job and insisted that is not fair with people waiting and they handled . I just had one of the BEST customer service experiences ever at the Dollar General located at 4549 Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee, FL (Store #19074) — and it's all thanks to an incredible employee named Yislen.
The store was BUSY. People everywhere. Carts moving. Lines forming. But Yislen handled it all like a total pro — friendly, fast, and focused. When I walked up to the register, she greeted me with a smile that instantly made the chaos feel calm. I was holding a pillow I planned to buy, and without hesitation, she politely asked me to hold on just a moment. Then — like a customer service superhero — she jetted down the aisle and came back with another pillow in hand.
Turns out, the pillows were buy one, get one free — and I had NO idea. She didn’t have to do that. She didn’t have to go the extra mile. But she did. Because that’s the kind of employee she is.
I was honestly trying to save money and could only afford one pillow. Thanks to Yislen, I walked out of there with TWO — and a huge smile on my face. She made my day. No — she made my WEEK.
She treated every single customer with kindness, respect, and a contagious energy that more places desperately need. She’s an asset to the store, to the company, and to the entire customer service industry.
KUDOS to Yislen — and serious respect to whoever hired her. Dollar General, please recognize this woman. Employees like her are rare, and when you find one, you hold on tight.

“I have been shopping at this store for several years and generally enjoy a pleasant experience. However, I often face a language barrier. I would say around 60% of the time when I'm at the cash register, I'm addressed in Spanish. I usually just nod in agreement, hoping it's a friendly greeting. For this reason, I am giving a 4 and not a 5 star rating. I believe that since most, if not all, of the cashiers can speak English, they should start by addressing customers in English.”

“I always consider Dollar general a five-star review because there's nothing better than just going in and getting what you need checking out and jumping in your car and off you go. the only reason I'm scoring the store a four out of five it's because the inside of the front door was very dirty it needs to be cleaned. The store had a weird smell to it too like milk was expired or something different that I don't want to say. other night it was well stocked and had everything I needed and the lady at the counter was very pleasant. why bother running into a supermarket or that other big store that starts with a w when you can just zip in and out of Dollar general.”

“The only reason I gave this location 4 stars was because of who assisted me today…Jennifer! Sadly she mentioned she was only helping out this location and today was her last day there. She was BEYOND helpful in comparison to the supervisor (did not catch her name) who’s tone was unwelcoming and even annoyed. I was using the DG app for coupons for the first time and we ran into a hiccup which added up to about $7 worth of discounts on the items I was buying.The supervisor seemed bothered by my questioning of how to fix the issue, where’s as Jennifer took the time to help me sort it out and correctly apply ALL the coupons to my app in order to receive the full discount on my purchase. I also wanted to shout out an older gentleman (did not catch his name either) however, he had glasses, a shaved head, spoke Spanish, and was stocking and organizing the store. He was also very helpful and even recommended items worth purchasing. Overall he was friendly and I appreciated his suggestions, which is why I find it odd with such pleasant staff the supervisor was rude during our encounter.In any case I was grateful and shocked to find this type of customer service with the other staff members at this location. I hope DG recognizes them, because employees like that are hard to find.”
