“There is a lady who works at this particular Dollar General in Brooker, that is so friendly and helpful, I have gone out of my way just to shop at this store. Myself, coming from a background of working retail; have noticed that she knows the merchandise well! and where it's located.The merchandise in this store is rather untidy, as customers pick over things, not putting merchandise back, and just being disrespectful and sloppy.I honestly believe that this particular lady, who runs a register (at least, when my husband and I are there), it is my opinion that if given the opportunity, and possibly training, this lady could run this store, and with some good employees trained well, this Dollar General could THRIVE, in this little city of Brooker. - This review was written quickly.”
“Tried the curbside delivery method and it was okay. Wish I could have given instructions on selecting produce, they didn't select the way I would have. Also one incorrect product but they gave me a credit for that so no harm, no foul. They were unable to fill requested strawberries, but no charge so okay, maybe ran out (?). made two substitutions that I probably would have done if my primary product was unavailable. So overall pretty happy.”
“This is just a good old hometown grocery store. You're not going to find everything on the shelf so don't expect it but the prices are pretty good
When I go I usually find the staff very nice and helpful.

“Some people may say Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, but I would have to politely and firmly disagree Those people have never been to a Walmart on a Friday night or a Saturday afternoon heck even a Sunday morning. Let me paint you a picture; 7 AM the emo chick in the Cookie Monster pajamas standing in the cat food aisle unsure what her six cats at home is gonna enjoy. She chugs the rest of the white monster that she hasn’t checked out and has been drinking as she peruses the store. sets it on the shelves next to the meow mix. She’ll be going with pure balance assuming it’s the healthy choice but it’s actually just Walmart signature cat food.”

“I have recently moved from Lake City to LaCrosse. I don't usually take the time to write reviews however, this store is special. The employees are beyond helpful, especially the manager. I have spoke with employees and managers from Ft White, Lake City, all the way down to Naples. Every one of these stores are operating on skeleton crews. Either because someone in the corporate office, sitting in a cushy chair decided it would be so much more profitable for the company as a whole to run these crews or they can't find people that are willing to work and make an honest paycheck. All I know is, this store gets in LaCrosse has the BEST of the BEST managers. She has figured out how to go above and beyond while running this limited crew. She is the first manager that actually does what she says. When certain items run low and the customer lets her know, she never forgets to order extra for my next visit. She doesn't care how small the item is or the cost. She is truly all about giving110% customer satisfaction. Thank You so very much!! You have a DIAMOND running the LaCrosse store. I sure hope corporate rewards these Google reviews and not just read them and discard them.”
