“My experience this time was great. Wait time was reasonable and the cost was half the price of the regular veterinary clinic. Update/ visited on 12-9-25 and had a great experience again. My dog had something on her gum line which I expected to be told it needed to be removed and she would need the whole dental work up again(dental done about a year ago). But nope doctor said it was a skin tag and to just keep an eye on it. So appreciate her honesty and she wasn't just out for financial gain. Thank you Planned pethood for your honesty and great care?”

Doctor Porter it's an excellent vet. Once you get past his bedside manner, which is a little distant. However, he truly cares about your dog and his very knowledgeable with tons of experience. No frills with this practice, just good veterinarian care at very reasonable prices.”

“We moved to Ocala in June, we called VCA at Buffalo Ridge for our lovely Rose. During the move we noticed a lump on her eye lid. This popped one night right after we moved into our home. They were so passionate with her and the staff is polite. They made us feel she is part of their family. I love her doctor. She so soft spoken and answers any concern we have.
Just this week we noticed her eye was getting another infection. I called the office explaining the situation, and asked if we could pick up the same prescription ointment or should we make an appointment. The person I spoke with said, no we have a refill and they would contact us when it was ready, she did advise it could take up to 48 hours. We were very impressed the same day her medicine was ready to be picked up. The office is not close to us 30 minutes drive, but this is definitely the place for Rose.
