“We've taken many of our cats to this vet. They listen to what you tell them is going on with your pet and then they work diligently with care and kindness to try and figure out what is going on and to come up with a treatment plan. They will also work within your budget if you have those concerns. I have been to vets that cost less and vets that cost waaaay more. They seem to be about average when it comes to cost. One last thing, should you lose a pet, they are so supportive during that time. I was surprised to receive a card in the mail after we lost my buddy, "Billy Badass". Every staff member not only signed the card but also included a personal message. That really meant the world to us. I would recommend this vet to anyone looking for a great team of people that will care for your special friends.”

“Our 19 year old cat was failing. She had been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease the year before. Planned Pethood Cares showed compassion and professionalism as they helped her cross rainbow bridge. They waived the vet fee and only charged me for euthalization and cremation. About $240 less than her regular Vet. So happy to find them! The techs thanked me for taking care of her for 19 years. To my surprise a couple of weeks later I received a sympathy card from them! Top notch!”

“I first brought Besbee, my GSD to Buffalo Ridge on a Friday when I arrived home from work to find her barely able to stand and slow to respond. I called my regular vet and they could not fit her in even as an emergency, I called several other local vets who gave similar responses. Finally I called a friend who recommended his vet which happened to be less than a ten minute drive away, it was Buffalo Ridge. They took us right away. It took several tests and more symptoms to appear before they were able to narrow it down and treat her, but they took good care of her in the meantime. I feared I would lose her that weekend but thanks to Buffalo Ridge we were able to determine that somewhere during her walks she had picked up and ate rat poison. She would have died if not for their care. Doctor Madiera was with her all weekend and thru the night, I could call anytime day or night and would get a quick update on her condition. The staff was all very kind and considerate whenever I called and I called alot!Besbee is home and 100% now and I have switched to Buffalo Ridge and Dr. Madeira as my regular vet. It is nice to know that no matter what time of day or night there will be someone there if I should need them. Their emergency care is the best and her regular visits have been nice too. They understand the needs and behaviors of an older GSD as well as a former marine and working dog. There are no complaints or problems when we need to wait outside or stay at the cat end of the reception room to avoid contact with other dogs. Besbee is a very special dog and deserves the best and I can feel confident that she is getting the best here.I wouldn't go anywhere else and highly recommend them.Update 5/31/2023The staff has had many changes these past few years and my last visit to them was not up to the standards I came to expect and I felt the Dr I dealt with really didn't care about my cat at all, and the office staff was more about the money then the welfare of my cat. Very disappointing and I will no longer be bringing my pets here. They stopped their emergency service and the office hours are much less then before.”

“Comfortable atmosphere. Took dog in as new patient that is a dog aggressive dog (who's not real friendly when in a over stimulated sensory to other pets). The staff were very friendly. My Dog responded well with the Dr. He was honest and fair. Could have rung up unnecessary test. (Like so many) Honorably he did not!!”
