“After some unexpected life experiences, I needed to move my items quickly. I looked for moving companies open on the weekends and M&K was only 1 of 2 in Lakeland that was open when I needed them. I called Saturday morning and by 1 PM they showed up at my apt. I only had 2 boxes packed by the time they came, but I told them my plans for everything and kept packing while they moved the furniture. I also had a couple extra requests besides just A to B moving, where half my items needed to be put in storage and everything else into my new location, and they kindly did it for me! I moved about 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, dining, and kitchen's worth of boxes and furniture for about 4 hrs of work. The price was the same as what I paid for a different moving company over 10 years ago that only moved 1 bedroom, 1 bath and took 2 hours, and that was with preparation on my part. Can't imagine how much those other 2 guys would have charged me for this move now! I had no one to help me move/pack, so it was the extra care they took that made all the difference. Thank you so much M&K Family Movers for your hard work on my last minute move, and for being available on a Saturday! Literally couldn't have done it without them.”
