“If I could give 100 stars I would. The staff at VCA are literal angels. They were the light on our darkness day. My baby Cloud (a beautiful silky soft white cat, with one hellava personality) had a life threatening complication. He was very weak and lethargic when we decided to take him in. I had called around for more than a day and it was let down after let down. Everyone wanted an absurd amount of money for the procedure that would ultimately save Clouds life. We were absolutely heartbroken and it was utterly gut wrenching to see Cloud in so much pain. My husband and I thought we were bringing him in to possibly put him down, we knew we couldn't afford his procedure. Euthanizing him, as hard as it was/is to digest was more affordable and at least he wouldn't be suffering anymore. The ride to VCA animal hospital from Inverness to Lecanto that morning was the worst. We arrived tears rolling, uncontrollably. The vet walked into the exam room, examined Cloud and knew exactly what was wrong with him. (Cloud had a urethra obstruction and was blocked) He said he would save Cloud. They worked with us and our wallet. It ended up being way more affordable in the end. Although Cloud's recovery isn't quite over, there is a huge improvement. He is almost back to his rowdy self, hopefully he will soon be back to his 2am rave parties all around the house. I hope he makes a full recovery and I wouldn't be saying that without the incredible staff at VCA animal hospital in Lecanto Florida. I will be coming back, without a doubt.....”

“UPDATE: WE used to have to sedate our Aussie when she came to the vets. Then we were told about their program, that Josh does where they help teach the animal not to be afraid. What an amazing program. When we 1st went into the program, Josh couldn't even get Whiskie to go near him. after about 3 months of his patience and understanding of her fears, he was able to not only get her to come to him but use the stethoscope, the eye tool, the ear tool, take her tempature and much more. ( She was pepper srayed in our car when she was 1 yr old thus the anxiety) He worked all thru that and we did the homework at home. He also had full hands on all of her body and she never minded it. Josh is amazing along with the program and it showed on our visit the other day. Letting the vets know how Josh got her to trust him at the beginning of the visit, they were able to do everything even the vaccinations with out a problem. It was wonderful and we were so gratefull to Josh. She is not 100% but a good 95%. Still shy of her left ear ( that is where the spray went into) And it didn't take a lot of treats just a few. !!!
Also, The vet and Techs that were in on her visit did amazing and listened to how Josh worked with her. Great Job.

Amazing Amazing.. The entire staff. Today Jesse & Dr Dunn saw our 7 mo old Mini Aussie. They got us in the day we called and went right to work on her problem. They checked what was needed and treated her fantastic. Problem solved with advice on how to help it never come back. Jesse & Dr Dunn were so very very gentle with her. We also have out 26 yr old horse seen by them. The best of the best vets in the county and surrounding area. All the staff and vets are the cream of the crop.”

“We moved here over a year ago. Of course we lined up a vet before we even moved, cause we have quite the crew. Two Golden’s, a Shih Tzu and three cats. Was used to sitting in a waiting room with exuberant Golden’s, and you know the drill. This is not like that. The reception staff obviously loves animals. Both Dr Hoopers will spend as much time as they need with you. They make sure they have answered all of your questions.We are exceptionally happy that they take care of our crew.”

“Dr. Hall and her staff are nothing less then great! I was in a very hard spot when I found out my neighbor wasn't taking care of our neighborhood cat Ze Ze. She had her litter box in the garage and would leave the door closed to the house a lot. The cat couldn't get to her box so got an intense badder infection. She was full of fleas therefore, chewing and licking her hair like mad. Dr. HALL found two her balls in her butt canal the size of golf balls. That's why she couldn't poop! Thank God for her taking me right way or Ze Ze would be dead! Dr. Hall didn't know me and I was not a customer yet being fairly new to the area. I highly recommend her! She has has a big heart! ❤️”

“Dr Natalie saved my dog’s life. She identified that his infection was sepsis and sent us to the Vet school hospital in Gainesville. It was antibiotic resistant and he. definitely would have died without their treatment. Love her!”
