“I traveled the dreaded I4 to come to this store after my podiatrist recommended I obtain a pair of structured orthotic shoes. I have not been in a pair of tennis shoes for at least 5 years. I began training for a natural body fitness competition and was running in Skechers slip ons ( bad mistake!) and developed Baxter's Neuritis from doing so. Overnight, I went from running and walking 5 miles in under 60 min & I was crippled, unable to walk and on crutches for 3 weeks! Not many people have heard of BN, even the PT had to look it up, but Konnor ( my sales associate) knew exactly what it was and had prior experience with that particular injury. I also supinate and pronate so fitting me was challenging. I was skeptical of their "money back or different shoe until you're happy - even if you wear the shoe for 30 days.. guarantee" but that was part of the draw to travel and buy an expensive (for me ) pair of shoes. The entire staff is great, but Konnor is a patient, kind and respectful gentle soul. We started with Asics, but I ultimately had to travel back after finishing with PT and off crutches to be fitted for a different pair, this time Brooks, and they swapped the shoes out with no problems -even with the scuff marks from being on crutches and having to be in the shoes almost 24/7. Also, I waited specifically in the store for Konnor the second time because of my initial experience with him and have not had to go back for a 3rd pair of shoes. The store's reputation & longevity in the community is well deserved. I was disappointed the urban legend of the digital footmapping treadmill was just that -an urban legend- but the way the store allows you to walk, run or jog in the shoes if need be is just fine.”

They do barn deliveries if you can't tear yourself away from your horse.There are a plethora of horse care items. Both English and Western riding equipment are available, new and resale. They have a tack "thrift" boutique selling on commission.What I really appreciate is their ordering items for me that are not available in-store. I'm difficult to fit for boots and they special order them for me- not custom made- but from companies that do make my size. I've not had other local stores offer that here in Central FL.Stockman's is one of a kind gold mine.”

“Stopped by thinking I'd get a new pair of ski boots. Spoke to the associate for awhile, tried a pair and realized my boots are actually quite nice and comfy; apparently I just hate ski boots because I grew up snowboarding. He said the boots will always be more uncomfortable versus snowboarding. He did mention Apex boots are ski boots made like snowboarding boots. I'm gonna check them out. I perused the store for face coverings and new gear. They have some used gear which is in good shape. I tried on almost 20 pairs of pants. The sizes between brands differ greatly. I found two outs of pants and a jacket I liked and grabbed a turtle on the way out as well. I may return for some gloves- they have pairs starting at $35. The associate gave me a discount at the register which was super nice. Return policy is 5 days, afterward you can get store credit. There were at least four fitting rooms and plenty of mirrors. There's a couple of shop dogs wandering around, not bothering anyone. Parking is on the street. I didn't see a lot.”

“I got a kid under 10 who plays soccer. We have been here twice to buy cleats for him since he’s growing and his boots regularly become too small for him. First time we couldn’t find anything that he liked or was his size but the rep that helped us was polite and professional and we saw a WWE superstar also buying shoes so it made the moment a bit memorable for us. Today was the second time we came in after academy sports in Lake Mary didn’t have anything his size and soccer cleats aren’t sold at Altamonte Mall (we checked Chanps, foot locker and Hibbert sports). Our rep today was also professional and polite which you can’t ask for more when buying shoes. We ended getting shoes that were on display, which is fine. I asked the rep at the register if there was any chance for discount since it was a display shoe. I would have been fine either way but the rep kindly gave us 10 percent off for it being a display shoe and it was highly appreciated. I’m sure I’ll be back soon for more cleats since my kids love soccer. My kid loves his cleats so much he slept with the shoebox next to his bed. Thank you! :D”
