“Been here a couple times for different things for my dogs. I overall think the staff is friendly and the doctors are compassionate. However, I believe they need to train their receptionists better. They booked an appt for the wrong pet and also called me about missing an appt I had already canceled… please communicate better up front and be more consistent. Also, I had asked several times for the bloodwork results to be emailed for my dog and wasn’t able to get them until I physically went in there for another appt.”

“I have worked in the pet care industry for 30 years cared for hundreds of pets and owned 12 dogs. I have lived in RPB for 8 years. After going to 3 other vets, including one who misdiagnosed pancreatitis, and was fired shortly thereafter for incompetence(why did they allowed her to see patients, when they already had plans to terminate her??) a friend recommended Dr. Herejk.She and her staff are top notch! Office is immaculate, they even had water for dogs in the exam room. Thorough, knowledgeable, organized, friendly and were so compassionate when I had to put Audrey to sleep. I came in this week, because Daphne had a stomach bug. Dr. Christina H. started a treatment plan and said if no improvement, we would move forward with other tests. This is as it should be. Not pushing tests which aren’t necessary. I highly recommend this practice and Daphne is doing great!???? 4 paws!”

“Hands down, one of the greatest veterinarian experiences. I wanted to find a new vet for my Russian Tortoise as we are new to the area. Given how challenging finding a good quality and affordable vet is nowadays, I was extremely hesitant to try one I simply found on the Internet. Lo and behold, I came across Dr. Rolfe and her team at the Bird & Exotic Hospital off Lake Worth Road. Finding the office was made easy thanks to their ability to text you the location, as well as a detailed list of what they would like for you to bring in. I also received a first-time patient survey that provided them with basic information about my tortoise. When I arrived, I found ample parking in a rather large and spacious parking lot. I strolled into a very well-maintained and modern clinic. I was given a warm greeting by one of the front desk staff. They provided me with visitation details and directed me to their comfortable waiting room, filled with plenty of chairs and reading material. I waited no more than five minutes before we were called in. The nurse was extremely polite and outgoing. She took a detailed history as well as answered any basic questions I had. Immediately after, Dr. Rolfey came in and saw my tortoise. Similar to her staff, she was kind and respectful. She took the time to answer my questions and was very funny! It was very welcoming here. I felt like they were talking with me, not at me. They provided me with the costs of every service and product they offered, with no pressure to do anything, while suggesting their honest opinion if I should or should not do something for my tortoise. Before I departed, they gave me a list of suggestions as well as my bill. Paying was very easy too. I cannot believe how well I was treated here. I frankly wish my personal primary care doctor took as much time as the staff of Bird & Exotic Hospital did to thoroughly answer all my questions and provide guidance.”

My young horse was diagnosed with pretty significant kissing spine and ultimately I decided to send him to Dr Davis based on his expertise and many recommendations around the country. “My 19 y/o cat’s tail got slammed in the door and it snapped two inches off the end. The cat is in amazingly good health for his age, but it was very traumatic for both of us, to say the least. I am very appreciative of Dr Moe’s conservative approach to treatment and not recommending surgery as a first solution. We are applying a gel 3-4 times/day and going back in a week. Hopefully the skin will granulate and grow back and all shall be well without surgery.”
