“A-1 Moving and Storage packed up our Miami house, stored our belongings until we found a new home in Texas. Once we purchased our new home they transported everything to Texas. Every item arrived in perfect condition. The movers unloaded and set up our beds, China cabinet and happily moved the furniture and boxes to the designated rooms. Every item was checked off on the inventory.

“Staff is helpful and you can ship multiple ways. You can ship FedEx packages, UPS, USPS, to name a few. I almost went 4 stars though because they have very limited hours that they are open. They are closed on Sunday and close at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Weekdays, I believe they close at 6:00 p.m. They would get a lot more business if they were open more days and longer hours. I ship from the store all the time and have had no problems and as mentioned the staff is very helpful.”

“We've been using this service and business for 5 yrs. We always are treated well. The staff is excellent and when an issue arises they know how to help. I am sure there are issues once in a great while, no business is perfect, but if you can hit 99% of the time....why are you complaining? Just work to fix it and move on. We use them almost exclusively. Never a serious line to get things done. It's a small business so it's nice to support them. Highly recommended.”

I will leave my below rant to prove a point.
Problems will happen, its how you respond that matters.
Ship Sticks made everything right, their team members Mark and Lisa helped and im sure others helped to get my clubs back to me.
When I think about this experience it was worth using them because if anything goes wrong, they are their to solve it.
I would have to spend countless hours on the phone with UPS to locate missing clubs.
Instead they did it for me and i got to keep working
despite missing a few rounds of golf, I am still able to start my season off with my clubs.

I decided to use Ship Sticks for my business trip to TX, that was a giant mistake that will cost me THOUSANDS of dollars
I am in TX on business, I missed 3 rounds of golf costing me X amount in networking and business, and I will miss the start of my golf league and have to go get fitted for new clubs.
MY guaranteed delivery date of Friday the 5th is long gone.
My clubs were scanned onto the truck for delivery on Friday the 5th and were supposed to be delivered to my hotel.
Instead late Friday afternoon, the driver marked that the business was closed and did not deliver my clubs... now the clubs are missing.
I feel like the driver or someone stole my clubs while Ship Sticks says the label fell off?
I was told i will get $2,000 in a a few months towards replacement, it will likely cost me closer to $4,000-$5,000 to replace my fitted ping irons, Fitted driver, wedges and putter, not to mention the bag, travel bag, shoes, and premium balls that were all lost.
This company just uses UPS or Fedex to ship clubs, do not waste your time, money, or reputation on recommending this company.
I really wanted to like this service and after asking my audience who to use they were highly recommended.
What was supposed to be a great golf business trip turned into a nightmare dealing with this company and now I will lose days trying to get and learn new clubs as well as thousands of dollars out of pocket because i trusted them.
Now I can't even work with UPS directly i have to go through their customer service to resolve anything and they said it will be months.”

“We are a family that completely appreciates delivery from drivers working with Amazon, FedEx, UPS and any other shipping service. I hope you all understand how incredibly important you are to society and specifically to our family. Today we had Ryan from MDB shipping (a company which partners with FedEx) to drop off some medical supplies for us at the house. This happens all the time that we get deliveries. But what was different? Ryan! He is an absolute column of excellence snd I hope he is recognized as a valuable and professional human resource for his company. They are considered great because he is great! Ryan is likely just doing his job and what he does and perhaps he wouldn’t have known what he’s delivering. But Ryan looked surprised when I came out to tell him thanks for being awesome. A quiet professional! So cool and legit to see a delivery man who obviously cares enough to deliver to peoples front door. We discourage packages coming to us left outside in the heat and elements and that includes that we discourage items delivered into our garage. Thank you for caring about what you do Ryan. Our family greatly thanks you and applaud you! We realize that it’s probably not always possible depending on the delivery location. Here however we have a covered entry where things are more protected and they are more importantly out of the heat in the shade.
For any other delivery personnel out there reading this, please allow me to mention just 7 things about what might seem like a simple action of a delivery and why Ryan is awesome!
1.) The man is just friendly. I don’t know him, and I don’t know what kind of day he’s having. What I do know is that he came to our door with a smile and then I caught him just as he was put in the package in a very secure spot.
2.) And that’s a great lead to my number two. The package is slightly heavy, but he’s obviously delivering it with care. He’s not just throwing it down and running. Thank you to his company that allows him the time to be able to do something like that. And thank you to him for caring.
3.) Ryan is very respectful of peoples property. He probably didn’t even realize that he closed back the door and closed back the gate. I’m not saying he had to go and do all of that, but it just talks about him as a different kind of person. That’s decency… we need more of this as far as I can see.
4.) This was a very timely delivery. Again these are medical supplies and we do rely on them.
5.) Careful driving. He’s not speeding around in our neighborhood where kids and pets are always running around
I have a sister who does similar work and I know sometimes she’s very pressed for time but thank you again for driving safely.
6.) I said it already but he’s a quiet professional. Probably what seems like regular stuff to him. Seems like a big deal to others. People’s behavior matters.
7.) Above and beyond. All of those following points completely defines what I call above and beyond style column of excellence.
Again, I can’t stress how much we appreciate delivered personnel like Ryan. I hope you have a beautiful day, stay safe on the roads and may God bless you.”
“i’m not sure where all the negative reviews come from… i’ve always had great experiences here. staff is always attentive and makes you feel welcomed. today i came in frustrated with a return for amazon (frustrated with the company who sent me the item and because i never return items) anyway, i came in with the heavy box and staff was quick to inform me that i can always come in before unloading the package and they’d assist me even if they’re busy. great customer service and the previous times ive been here it hasn’t been any less of great service. thanks for everything guys you’re great.”
