“After a day of fun at the beach, we were feelin’ a little hungry. It was 8:00 and none of us had eaten anything since lunch. We drove for about 20 minutes looking up restaurants and couldn’t find many. We stopped at one, but it was a tad unusual. A lady sitting at the bar told us we had to walk straight through the crowded kitchen to get to the seating area. We walked back and the lady sitting at the desk said it would be a 35-45 minute wait. None of us could wait that long. We left that place in a hurry. We parked in an empty lot to look up restaurants. We soon found a great looking place a few minutes down the road. We pulled into the parking lot and were granted a seat. The waiter was very nice and funny. When we were ready to order however, it was not him that came, a waitress took our order. Soon after we ordered other people sat down right next to us. We waited for 30 minutes and none of our food came-not even our salads! The funny thing was, that the people next to us had got their food. A half hour later we hadn’t gotten our food yet, and they were receiving their bill. The restaurant had closed now and we weren’t even eating yet. Finally we got our salads, but my son doesn’t like salad. He was looking a little sickly. Another 5 minutes went by and our waitress finally came and told us that our order had been lost! After 20 minutes our food came. While we were eating, we talked about how the place we stayed had no rags and my niece forgot to pack socks too. We paid for the food and left the restaurant. Near by, we spotted a CVS. It had taken so long to get our food that it was 10:40. Luckily the CVS closes at 11:00pm. We walked in and got loofas, to shower with instead of rags, and we got socks and a mini toothpaste for my niece. The cashier was a very nice lady. She was even from the same state as us! The bathroom is quite nice and spacious. We love CVS!”

“Gas sold $.10 - $.20 cheaper than other gas station convenience stores. The only negative is having to wait for pump to open up as there are normally lines. Is it worth the extra time to save a few $$? I say yes unless you are in a hurry!”

“They were so kind they actually treated me like a person, an experience that I had not received from the large chain pharmacy I was at prior.They listened to what issues I was experiencing getting my prescriptions filled ,all while Im dealing with a family emergency needing to go out of state. It was minutes prior to them being closed and my prescription still hadn't been sent over until 6:00 pm .Instead of making me come back the next day they actually filled them without any issues. “I want to add to this review as I think it shows more about the company than to delete it. I received a call from Diego who was not pleased with the way my order was handled and has refunded my money in total...which included my return shipping. He stated he was out of the country and that none of this would have happened if he was present.Therefore I change my review to 5 stars!I do not usually write a negative review but this company handled my order so unprofessionally that I feel that I must. I had a subscription with this company and before the item was shipped I contacted them to cancel. I was then given a different number to call as they told me the pharmacy department handles this. I left two messages but never heard back. I went back to where I started, was told to call them again and I finally spoke with someone who told me they cannot cancel orders and sent me back to where I started. I then tried to reach the main number did not receive an answer and someone sent me a text asking how they could help. I explained that everyone I spoke with sent me to someone else to cancel. Then I was told that if the order is not shipped within 7 days it automatically is canceled. This did not happen. I explained the situation and after two days of texts I was told by the end of the day that the item would be canceled. To make a long story short, it was never canceled and it was shipped. I was then told to put a note withthe return and they would refund my money. Once I received my item and contacted them to say I received it I was told I would be charged a restocking fee. I explained the situation once again and was told that the restocking fee would be refunded once they received the item. Again I had to contact them regarding the refund of the restocking fee. They would not reimburse the shipping even though it was their fault that the item was not canceled. It is really sad that this is a small company that one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. I will never order anything from them again.”

My fiance and I have different health issues, more than enough issue that require multiple medications.
We have been coming to this pharmacy for approximately 7 years and in that seven years I feel like its family when we walk up to the counter. All the staff at the pharmacy counter are very pleasant, i wish I could remember everyone's name so I could give them credit. But just know that you are the ones that give me my meds and take the payments, thank you.
Recently my fiancé. had several strokes. I went to the pharmacy to check to see if the hospital sent any medication, because it didn't say anything on his discharge paperwork. I explain this to Shannon the pharmacist and he got right on that saw that there was medicine prescribed and immediately filled them without hesitation.
Shannon knows my name and my fiancée's name.Every time we go in he always says hello and calls us by our first name . I also wanna add.
That the pharmacist have this amazing way of remembering a lot of our diagnosis, now that is a feat in itself considering we have multiple.
When our co-payments are too expensive. The pharmacy staff and the pharmacists do their best to see where we can get a discount, sometimes they do this and they don't even tell us that they did.
So in essence this is what i'm talking about. The pharmacy personnel at Publix pharmacy on highlands at labelle plaza has to be one of the best pharmacies that I've ever had the pleasure of going to!!!!
Big shout out to all of you in the pharmacy. I see that you guys are extremely busy and rushing around on certain days. But you still take the time to smile and address us by our name, so thank you!
I don't think the average lay person understands the pressures of working in a pharmacy, the constant phone calls from doctors.The constant calls from patients with questions about medications.The constant stat medications that need to be filled. I can understand this somewhat from being a nurse for thirty years. The medical field and the insurance process has changed drastically and everything has become difficult. The time effort and energy the pharmacist must put in to make sure they are able to cover our medications with our insurance is absolutely amazing!

“The pharmacy department team was the kindest and most helpful one I’ve been to. They were handling a large number of customers with varying issues with grace and efficiency. I normally use the one on Central and 66th and they tend to be rude and less interested in answering questions and are disorganized. New employees all the time it seems. Trasure Island Store has a lot of selection in a smaller store but well stocked. I would use them over my neighborhood store anytime.”

“This is a nice little Publix that had everything we needed while on vacation near by. They always had things that were relevant to people who may be on vacation near by. If you need a grocery store while on vacation then check this place out. They staff were friendly and the store was clean. plenty of great parking as well.”
