Goodwill - Miami/Bird Road

Goodwill, Thrift Stores, Community Services/Non-Profits
Hours: Goodwill - Miami/Bird Road is a large store that plays an important role in the community by helping people with disabilities find jobs and training opportunities. With over 2,600 employees, it is one of the biggest employers in Miami-Dade County. The store offers a wide variety of donated items, including clothing and household goods, making it a popular shopping destination despite some challenges. Visitors note that the store can be disorganized and the parking lot is in poor condition, which can make shopping less convenient. Prices have also increased over the years, leading some to feel that items are overpriced, especially when compared to buying new. However, the store maintains a spacious and tidy environment, and staff are appreciated for their politeness and helpfulness, with one employee in particular being highlighted for excellent service. Customers enjoy browsing through the variety of items, finding cute and unique pieces, and recognize the store’s positive impact in the community. Overall, it’s a place with good intentions, a diverse selection, and friendly staff, though it could benefit from better organization and parking improvements.
