Just checking out of this Hyatt and very disappointed. Stayed with my family and it was evident there is no attention to detail or customer service.
I can never ever get an upgrade despite my loyalty because they are at “capacity” the place is empty.
Floors are disgusting outdated and torn with no repair insight (see pics).
Bathroom blower has not been cleaned in years. Not the Hyatt I’m used to and will not stay again.

We stayed for three days, and the experience was incredible. Great service, the room and its views were, in my opinion, unbeatable. Everything is very close by, and the food is high quality! I’m very happy with the experience and I’m sure I’ll be back.

I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay at the Hyatt Centric Brickell, Miami. This was my second time staying at this property. In February 2025, my mother and I had a pleasant experience, which led us to choose this location again to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet the standards we have come to expect from Hyatt.
The first issue occurred during check-in. While service was prompt, the experience was noticeably different from that of my cousin, who checked in around the same time. Her front desk representative thoroughly explained the hotel’s amenities and dining options, offered a courtesy drink ticket due to the wait, and proactively offered to hold her luggage. In contrast, my representative did not provide any of this information. When I asked about assistance with our bags, I was told to locate the bellman. Ultimately, the same front desk representative who assisted my cousin ended up taking all of our bags, making the initial response feel inconsistent and unnecessary.
Another major concern was the valet service. The process was extremely inefficient and frustrating. Although we were told retrieval would take approximately five minutes, this was rarely the case. There was no option to call ahead or request the vehicle in advance, requiring guests to wait until a valet attendant appeared. On multiple occasions, attendants did not greet us or acknowledge us unless we initiated interaction. One attendant reportedly did not speak English, which led to confusion not only for us but also for other guests. At one point, the wrong car was brought to a guest who could not effectively communicate the issue. This issue occurred on Saturday, January 17th, midday, while another valet attendant stood nearby without offering assistance; I had to ask him to take my keys so I could go upstairs to change for dinner. Unfortunately, being ignored became a recurring experience.
Additionally, the room itself presented challenges. The walls and doors are extremely thin, and housekeeping noise disrupted our rest each morning. On one occasion, the disturbance was so severe that my mother had to step into the hallway to ask for quiet, as housekeepers were speaking loudly to one another from different rooms while children were running and yelling in the hallway. Rest was nearly nonexistent throughout our stay. I also noticed visible mold on the bathroom ceiling above the shower, which was concerning.
This will likely be our last stay at this location; however, I wanted to share this feedback in hopes that improvements can be made for future guests. When traveling, especially internationally, we intentionally seek out Hyatt properties because we are accustomed to a certain level of class, service, and consistency that the brand represents. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of those expectations.

Decent hotel at the heart of Miami business centre. But lacks basic amenities like microwave/cutlery in the room. Shower head was old and rusty. Water had no pressure. Rooms were not very sound proof. I could hear a lot of noise from the corridors.

**Very disappointing stay at Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami.** This hotel is far below expectations, especially considering the price and the fact that it is part of the Hyatt brand.
The **bathroom had a strong and unpleasant smell**, and the **room floor had loose sections**, showing poor maintenance. **Towels, soap, and basic toiletries were not replenished**, and when I arrived, **these items were not even in the room**. Even worse, there was **a wet towel left in the bathroom**, which seriously raises concerns about cleanliness.
Breakfast is advertised as included, but it is **only covered up to a certain amount**. Anything above that must be paid separately, which is not clearly explained and feels misleading.
Overall, this hotel is **well below Hyatt standards**.
**I will not return and do not recommend this hotel to anyone.**

Definitely the worst Hyatt property I have stayed at. The room felt dirty and smelly, fresh towels were dirty on multiple occasions, and bed linens were dirty and stained. The hotel floor was dirty and stained and the bathroom had a strange odor in it.

Stayed there before a cruise. Not clean, carpets, floors have stains and hair. My room was the dirtiest I have seen at a hyatt. Was really shocked. Front desk manager was nice and helpful.

My hotel bill included a Visa fee of $160. When I called to ask what the $160 was for, the front desk said it was a Wi-Fi fee. I told them I hadn't used it, but they replied that I would be charged regardless! This is a mandatory charge! This is the first time I've encountered such an arbitrary charge! I really need to be more careful with my bills; there are so many scams out there.

Like almost everything else in Miami (fake, superficial, and overpriced), the Hyatt Centric Brickell is no exception. I don’t know how it garnered a 4.3-star review on Google. It’s a 3.5-star type of property at best.
THE GOOD. The pool is heated, and I guess the view is nice. That’s about it.
THE BAD. The guest rooms are poorly maintained. Actually, that might be generous. From what I can tell, the rooms have never been maintained. The “hardwood” floors are not rigidly attached to the underlayment or each other, so they slide around and leave 1-inch gaps everywhere. Most of the flooring pieces are severely delaminated at the edges and are starting to curl up, so it’s an eyesore at best, and a tripping/safety hazard at worst. The water pressure in the shower is a joke, and our toilet has a leak so it (loudly) refills every 5 minutes. The pool area was out of towels when I arrived, and when I requested some more, the staff working the pool area didn’t seem to have any sense of urgency and took over half an hour to return with some more. Housekeeping doesn’t clean your room unless you’re staying four nights or more. We had to flag down an employee to tidy up our room, and she looked annoyed that we even asked.
THE UGLY. Do you like hearing your neighbors as if they’re in your own room? Because that’s what you’ll get. On Thursday night, the guests next door were talking and playing music the entire evening. I could hear every word they were saying even though I had the AC and bathroom fan on. When they started playing drinking games at midnight, the conversation quickly turned into a yelling contest. I called the front desk to complain about the noise, and at least they quickly sent security up to their room. Wow, the staff doing something quickly without objection for once? Oh wait, I guess I couldn’t see how far back their eyes were rolled. In typical Miami culture, my lovely neighbors returned at 4am and started having an impromptu karaoke party in their room. A drunk girl with a deep voice singing out of tune is not my idea of background noise. I promptly called security again and the singing eventually stopped. My lovely neighbors did the same thing again Friday night, and even though I was prepared with earplugs, nothing can drown out a grating, off-pitch attempt at singing If I Ain’t Got You. Girl, you have ruined Alicia Keys for me for life. Reading some of the other reviews, it seems like noise is more problematic for rooms with adjoining doors, and while that may be true, I could definitely hear people talking on the other side as well. There is simply little to no sound insulation between the walls.
Now if this were to happen at any other hotel, they would graciously comp at least one night for the inconvenience. I was not offered that. In fact, I was not offered anything. When pressed, the front desk had to call the manager, at which point I was offered a refund of 5000 points to my Hyatt account. You can keep your pity offer to yourself. For reference, the first night was booked with 23000 points. The fact that this hotel is so poorly maintained, with an I-don’t-know-what-hospitality-means staff, and a manager that loves to pinch pennies, the entire business just screams CHEAP on all accounts, and it shows. And hey, Craig Haas, Mr. General Manager, I look forward to your generic, AI-written reply to my review in which you apologize for the hotel’s shortcomings and maybe offer yet another measly refund. Ultimately though, I can say with 100% confidence that no change to the hotel operations will come about as a result of this review. It is an absolute disgrace for this hotel to be classified as an Award Category 5 Hyatt property. Actually, it’s an embarrassment for this property to be a Hyatt at all.

Hyatt centric Hotel, Miami - I recently stayed at this hotel with a last-minute booking, attracted by the predominantly positive reviews. Upon checking into my room, I was surprised to find the floors sticky with large dirt particles and long hair on the bed sheets - an experience that fell short of expectations given the hotel's overall rating. Additionally, the room was missing essential amenities such as coffee, creamers, and cups, which I had to request. The staff apologised, citing they were busy. I hope these issues are addressed to meet the standards suggested by previous reviews.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this hotel. Mr. Silwany was incredibly kind and responsive to my request prior to our arrival, which was greatly appreciated. The location is excellent, with so many restaurants and shopping options just steps away.

The hotel floor was very dirty and worn down with the laminate floors delaminating all over. Our feet turned black after walking for a few minutes … shower was also not very clean with prior guests hair in shower drain … the cleanliness of the hotel was very disappointing. We pretty much played floor is lava with towels all over the floor …
The customer service was great and the person checking us in at the front desk (who looks like klay Thompson) was very nice and very helpful.
Valet service was good, I wish they had a system of pre texting them to have car ready as sometimes during busy times we had to wait 10-15 min sometimes for the car.
Breakfast for globalists was good, the Cuban restaurant was good for dinner as well.
I wouldn’t return here given how the room felt more like a motel, the location is obviously the best part.
