Sedano's Supermarkets is the largest Hispanic supermarket chain in the country, offering a variety of grocery items, frozen foods, household and personal care products, and pet supplies. The store features fresh bakery, deli, and seafood departments, providing customers with a range of fresh options. The store is generally clean and organized, with short lines that make shopping easier. Over the years, Sedano's has improved, offering more modern and healthier food choices, which has been appreciated by some customers. However, experiences vary. Some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with certain staff members, describing them as poorly educated or with an arrogant attitude, especially at the cashier or deli counter. There are reports of misunderstandings and embarrassment during checkout, often related to packaging or pricing issues. Some customers mentioned that the produce, particularly vegetables and starches, may sometimes lack quality. Additionally, there are concerns about the availability of special deals, with claims that the weekly specials advertised in newspapers are not always honored or accurate. There is also a caution that non-Hispanic products may be old or infested with bugs, based on past experiences. Overall, Sedano's is recognized for its focus on Hispanic foods and a variety of fresh departments, but customer experiences highlight areas for improvement in staff professionalism, product quality, and promotional honesty.
I'm glad to see a chain that serves the Latino communities.

In reality, the supermarket is well stocked, clean and organized, but using the self-pay registers is a problem, many times it does not scan the product and you have to start again.
