Poor bank...no services, rude employees, everyone has a different version of what happens. Don't this, Don't that, we can't, you can't...I received 20 Zelle in 2 months...they blocked the account 10 times, had to go to a branch with 2 form of ID to unblock...

I would suggest going to more internally organized and competent banks like Chase, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America before this one.My experience has been similar to other commenters: Opened an account in the branch, but received a letter the following week my account was closed by the fraud team.This is so odd and frustrating because I should have an extremely clean banking history with no red flags. I went to the branch to get more information, but they couldn’t provide additional information.Also, ChexSystems is showing the Truist account inquiry on my banking history, which means this Truist account inquiry has negatively impacted my ChexSystems score and inquiries stay on your report for 5 years.I’m thinking Truist has a less than stellar fraud team and some unsophisticated fraud triggers. Remember that Truist is the result of a recent merger (2019) of BBT and Suntrust - these are the equivalents of the bank formerly known as First Republic Bank, but for the South (like the $200-300B in assets category).They probably have some wonky internal operations from their regional banking days, plus additional internal operational issues/inefficiencies/errors from the merger and rebranding to their current “technologically savvy” version.

0 stars for this Bank. Stay away from BB&T/Truist Bank. Very bad experience with this bank. An account was open, and he closed it for no reason after 24 to 48 hours. Went to the bank at least 4 times. Made a deposit in 2014, 24 hours later they closed it and asked me to come pick it up. They refused to tell me exactly what was the reason for closing it. And you would think that because SunTrust & BB&T merged, That it will get better, nope, wrong answer. It got worse. Worse or than you can even imagine. And there’s more to it than it meets the odds. Stay away from BB&T/Truist Bank. You’re only going to become another victim of opening up an account, and having it closed for no reason. To be advised. Stay away from this company. Don’t even do any loans with this company.

Horrible experience it’s just out of this world my experience with this branch … waiting for 1 hour to do one wire transfer and a banker telling me they only pay 22$/hour that’s nuts …. That’s why I have to wait one hour !!! And then from the three personal bankers they have one is sitting in his desk by him self doing nothing !!!! They other tells us oh we are sorry the only person can do that it’s the one which is with the customer !!!! Really !!! Never ever open an account in this bank and closing all of my accounts from them and moving them to chase !!!

Worst bank ever. Highest interest on car loan. Paid off my car they never mailed me my title.Called 10 times no one ever answers the phone.Called national 800 number 3 times had to hang up after being on hold nearly 2 hours.No way to get service.

This Suntrust is located right on Brickell Ave and 7th St and at a centric location. There is garage parking or street parking in the surrounding streets. I bank with Suntrust and have to drop by multiple times a month. 90% of the time there is only one teller and one banker. If you come at a good time, there will be a wait time of 15 minutes for any service. If you come at a busy time, good luck! You will be waiting over 30 minutes for a service, even to open your lockbox. I think this location needs to hire more tellers and more bankers. This is a small bank with only two windows and two offices but at least have the spaces filled since it is a busy location! I've also emailed the banker and she never responded after specifically telling me to email her lol I think they are just too busy for the traffic and they don't have enough employees. I highly suggest going to another location if possible because of the employee shortage and long wait times.
