Also the bartenders were very friendly, especially Adrian who was very gentle and kind! Camilo is a character and sets up the party! Spectacular music, with the Latintime band! That group sings spectacularly and of all genres with original arrangements! Excellent experience in Salao!!”

“This restaurant was walking distance from our hotel and had decent reviews, so we decided to try it, plus there weren't too many options after 7 pm in the area.We had a great server, which suggested perfect drinks, appetizers, and mains.It's too bad they were closing at 10 pm, we would have stayed longer.The restaurant is next to the marina and bottom level to an office building, so I'm sure the bulk of the business is during the daytime and weekends. But, overall, we enjoyed everything which was offered.We loved the food and drinks. But don't bother with the oysters. They were small.The atmosphere felt like you were in the tropics while sitting in a tiki hut.”

My MC was Marielena. She was very accommodating and enthusiastic. DJ Vinnie was awesome and played a perfect mix of music to keep the crowd engaged. I had an amazing time!!!”

“This place is so fun! We happened to walk past and had to stop in for some pictures. They have so many different staged areas and have a changing room if you’re looking to wear different outfits. Each area has a selfie light so you can take your own pictures or bring someone to take them (it was $20 for an extra person). Highly recommend!”

The place is very well designed, a very attractive entrance with lighted trees in the parking lot and very well thought out spaces for photos. “We just had an amazing lunch at Trulucks in Brickell. My husband who is a big fan of Joe’s Stone crabs said the stone crabs at Trulucks were as good.The crab cakes are fresh and delicious.For dessert we shared a (big) carrot cake.But what made the whole experience unforgettable, was our waitress Clarisa. She was attentive, quick, friendly, professional and funny.I hope we have her again next time we visit.”

“I recently celebrated my son’s 6th birthday at All Star Party World and we had such an amazing party. All our guest said they loved everything. We really liked the coordination of the games and how the young personnel keep the kids entertained. Also for set up they have everything on point. They help you set up everything and have anything necessary to set up the tables like baskets for snacks, coolers to put the drinks etc. I did the ballon package which came out great. They did the arch and centerpieces for me so I didn’t have to worry about that. Michy and Jeff are amazing and easy to deal with which is a plus. I totally recommend this venue for any kids party. My son loved loved his birthday party and the kids had a blast with the laser tag which I added.”

For proper dinner, it offers classic Cuban cuisine with a twist, probably overpriced but what is not in these days, Food is good though! Live music is great, overall a good experience, it's like to walk into La Havana a long time ago! Perfect for a classic Miami experience if you are visiting!”

Sandra was an amazing partner and I am thankful for her patience, kindness, organization, collaboration, and creativity for my wedding at Deering Estate. She took the time to listen to me, understand what I wanted out of my event, and execute upon my vision perfectly.Sandra is so capable in event organization and execution that I felt my wedding planner was no longer needed in the wedding planning process. She is a brilliant event planner AND caterer who made my wedding day run flawlessly. Many people in the event industry treat your wedding/event as "just another event", but Sandra made me feel as though this was the most important event. I trusted her through every step of the process.I would also be remiss if I did not celebrate the chef/mixologist and highlight some of my favorite parts of the meal/cocktail hour itself! We chose the Guava Rose cocktail as our welcome drink. It was such a pretty welcome drinks and the guests loved the flavor. For the cocktail hour we chose the spicy margarita and the mojito. Both were delicious and especially impressive given the large volume they had to make (150+ guests). We had many delicious passed hors d'oeuvres, but I still dream about the bacon wrapped maduros (sweet plantains). Lastly, the dinner (churrasco steak and yucca crusted mahi) was phenomenal. Again, it was so impressive that the quality did not falter while they cooked large volumes of food. This is another factor that sets Bill Hansen apart from any other caterers I have experienced. (My guests STILL talk to me about how good the food was and my wedding was over a month ago!)Lastly, one unique thing that I requested from Sandra was that she provide iced tea to my mom (who drinks iced tea constantly!!) for the wedding day. When we showed up to the event, Sandra had a vat of perfectly brewed iced tea. While many may view this detail as silly/forgettable, Sandra knew this detail was actually very important to us and it showed how much Sandra really did care about the success of our day.THANK YOU SANDRA!!!!”

“Five Stars are not enough to rate how wonderful this venue is and how incredible the staff is. My daughter got married a few days ago and everything was absolutely perfect - in large part because of the venue we chose for the reception...The Coco Plum. The venue is historic, making it beautiful and very cozy. We had considered a hotel but when we went to The Coco Plum there was no hotel that could possibly offer the vibe that Coco Plum offers. In addition, the staff is incredible starting with the Senior Event Coordinator, Rosie Hayden. Rosie is loving, understanding, full of great ideas, and most importantly always aims to please the bride. She understood our vision and executed it to perfection. The food was absolutely delicious. The appetizers tasted fresh and just-made and the food arrived at the tables warm. The Chef not only provided a tasty meal but was also extremely nice. As the mother of the bride, I was running around and did not get a chance to try the hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour and when he found out he went and made me some. They were as delicious as the guests had told me. Rosie's assistant, Miguel, is as wonderful as Rosie. The bartenders were efficient and extremely nice. I could go on forever!”

“So far, this is a review for the planning process and the food tasting. JC and Ayler have been very responsive with answering questions. This venue does give you the all-inclusive option where mostly everything you need is included in the venue price. They take care of the food, music, and dinner/reception decor. That includes linens, tableware and flowers. The only things you will be responsible for booking this location is: your officiant, photography/videography, decor for ceremony area, your personal flowers (bouquet/boutonnieres), and the liquor. They provide the bar staff and mixers. The food tasting was good! My favorites were the sweet chili glazed salmon and the filet mignon. I preferred the roasted potatoes and key west veggies as the sides. You choose one of three steak options, and one of two chicken options to offer to your guests. I also got to walk around and see the venue after my tasting appointment.”

“Birdside banquet is a special place from the owners to the staff. I don’t go out of my way to write a review but this is an exemption. The owners knowledge of catering and giving more to make your day memorable, plus the upgraded decor from other local banquet hall sold me. Our party went off like clock work. Everyone was overwhelmed by the place, the decor, and the great food from the appetizer to the cake. I didn’t have to worry and was guided by the onsite party coordinators. It was a night for all to remember and the atmosphere was fantastic. Overall a great place and great people and fantastic food. The most worried free party I have ever had. We were able to relax and enjoy the whole event. This will be the place for our next parties to come. You will not be disappointed.”
