It opened its doors in 2011 in the heart of the Wynwood Art District. There are multiple bars in this large indoor/outdoor complex. All walks of life frequent this local lounge. Great for people-watching, Live music, or a quiet cocktail. In the back, there is a large wooden "deck" area and it's where most tend to gravitate towards. Very casual and laid-back and never a cover. Wood Tavern is a large venue yet it feels cozy at the same time. Must stop by when visiting Wynwood.
