“We just hosted a formal UF event for 45 people in this lovely newly renovated space at Depot Park. It's air-conditioned, wonderfully redone, quite convenient, and in one of the most beautiful spots in Gainesville. The food was absolutely delicious and received applause afterwards! The staff were attentive and friendly, and working with the event planner, Bailey Bruce, was very easy! We will be returning to this space, I know! ?”
“Perfect from appointment scheduler to everyone there. Front office and back office. The love they have for animals is so evident. Reasonable prices and having our cat spayed and the precaution they took when they heard a heart murmur was so appreciated.”
“A little dated. About 30 minute walk to restaurants and grocery stores. Some rooms over look the freeway. Kitchen with microwave, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, plates, pots and pans. TV had white spots in screen... needs a new TV.
Clean room. Happy to consider coming back again.”

“We were very happy to stay here, the room were very clean, nice view, spacious rooms. We stay 2 nights and the last one we decided to go to the bar downstairs and the drinks were amazing and service too. I love that is easy to walk to a diner and pretty much everything is walking distance. The only thing was that we did not got room service, im not sure if we should have put a clean service sticker but we did not see one”

“The Herlong Mansion is a wonderful place. The owner Kim has done a magnificent job of preserving the classic look and feel of this beautiful and historic place.Micanopy is a special place. You can close your eyes, think back to a different time and place, open your eyes and be convinced that you have traveled back in time.The Herlong Mansion has a wonderful, kindhearted, and professional staff. Additionally, comfortable guest rooms, beautiful sitting areas, and a beautiful porch and even more relaxing veranda in the second floor. We had a large group, and everyone truly enjoyed their stay. I highly recommend!”
