“1908 Grand was the most perfect place for our wedding for so many reasons! First the location was wonderful, just a six minute walk from downtown Gainesville, so our guests could literally walk back to their hotels after the reception!
The space is absolutely beautiful and unlike any of the other location we looked at. Where vintage meets modern, the space is beautiful by itself with the chandeliers, dark wood, a marble bar and beautiful windows that let in natural light! You’re truly paying for a classy venue and not an empty room. At the same time there is also enough space to add whatever decorations you want and make it your own! Our guests loved that there were a couple different locations within the venue itself, especially with the ballroom being upstairs made it feel like a grand reveal!
Secondly, I cannot say enough about the staff! Jana made us feel so special and let us come in multiple times with our wedding planner to get measurements, look at table layouts and to dream about our perfect day! She worked so hard behind the scenes of our day to make it seem effortless, everything flowed so well! No question felt like an inconvenience, no request to big!
Thank you 1908 Grand for making our day so special, now every time we drive by we get to say: that’s where we had the best day ever!”

“I've been going to events and shows here since it opened. It's only gotten better over the years. Lots of different events for lots of different crowds. Punk shows, weddings, company events, etc. The staff are professional and consistent. Fantastic venue.”
“What an amazing venue! We went to the Swamp Showcase specifically to see Arcy Drive but would definitely go back for other shows. So much room to spread out and dance and very fair prices for beer. Definitely get the pizza at the restaurant next door. So good!”
“I have been here multiple times for different cooking classes, and it is so much fun! although I am a fairly decent cook, I always learn something new! The price is fair for what you get, cuz not only do you get instruction and entertainment but you always leave with food. The chefs are very interactive, super fun! and always answer every question! “A little dated. About 30 minute walk to restaurants and grocery stores. Some rooms over look the freeway. Kitchen with microwave, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, plates, pots and pans. TV had white spots in screen... needs a new TV.
Clean room. Happy to consider coming back again.”

“We were very happy to stay here, the room were very clean, nice view, spacious rooms. We stay 2 nights and the last one we decided to go to the bar downstairs and the drinks were amazing and service too. I love that is easy to walk to a diner and pretty much everything is walking distance. The only thing was that we did not got room service, im not sure if we should have put a clean service sticker but we did not see one”
