I was tired of questionable cleanliness, appointments that took 4 hours, and calls trying to change my appointment times at the last minute, so we brought our Havapoo to Pampered Pooch. On time every time. He’s groomed in an hour, we pick him back up, and he’s beautifully groomed and happy. Highly recommend! Note: they are a cash only establishment so plan accordingly.

Brandy, Remy and Kona are big, goofy cuddle monster pups who love to get into mischief and play rough so they get themselves into trouble more often than we'd like. We have been going to the Milton Animal Hospital since we moved to Florida. Dr. Loper, Dr. Mills and all the vets are excellent and clearly want what is best for your animals! We have never felt rushed and know that our dogs are in the best hands. They consider the whole pet and the family situation to help provide solutions and advice that fit your lifestyle and budget. The staff are always so kind and responsive to questions/concerns. Phone calls and PetDesk messages are answered very quickly. My rambunctious bunch are a handful, but the vet techs are always so understanding and helpful. They also always call a day or two later to check on your pet after vaccines, which is a very thoughtful touch. We have recommended this vet practice to many military friends moving the the local area. Highly recommend!

The girl who served me in the drive thru was spot on with kindness and explaining the coffees. She suggested 3 different coffees that are popular. I got the flower power (think that's right) which she said was her favorite and to add a bit of honey so I did and let me tell you it was just perfect in every way! I've been looking for a reason to be on Chumuckla Hwy ever since :p

2784 Avalon Blvd, MiltonToday my husband and I went to Pensacola and didn’t want to go into town for lunch because we had our dog with us, so we decided to try this spot because it had nice outdoor seating and we are SO GLAD we did!
This spot is such a gem, amazing service and the food is so fresh. We started with mozzarella sticks, we each got the Gyro dinner plate and finished off with the brown butter bourbon ice cream and every single bite was 10/10. Our waitress Kaan, I believe was the name on the receipt, was so sweet and had great recommendations!
We will absolutely be coming back!

Gator's Seafood Restaurant
4030 Farrington Rd, MiltonMy family and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Gator’s Seafood Restaurant. The atmosphere is rare and beautiful. It is a true old-Florida restaurant of the kind that used to be fairly common 20 years ago, but has all but vanished in 2025. A warm hardwood building directly on a placid little bayou that indeed is the home of visible alligators. The restaurant is medium-sized, busy with happy diners, and warmly-lit throughout. Large windows overlooking the bayou provide diners with a peaceful and charming view, and give the impression the restaurant exists with nature rather than intrudes on it. I would say this special atmosphere is the highlight of Gator’s, but that would be unfair to the staff. The Farringtons, especially our server Abigail, truly made us feel like family and everyone who worked there wore easy smiles and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could imagine throughout our stay. And the food delivered what we hoped for - simple fried seafood fare in generous portions. We had fried mullet, crab claws, and the hot fried shrimp that was exactly as advertised. I had the seafood platter and everything was very good. We finished off with a piece of homemade Key Lime Pie (which my daughters loved) and their special homemade Bushwacker Pie. The Bushwacker Pie really did taste just like a frozen Bushwacker drink, and it turns out that it makes an excellent finish to a meal. This restaurant is a gem of the area, and I suspect there are very few places in all of Florida anymore that can deliver a similar experience. Gator’s Seafood Restaurant is a time-capsule to a previous age that will bring warm nostalgia to an older diner, and surprising charm to younger ones.

6509 Caroline St, MiltonThe best Fried Okra I have ever had. Light breading perfectly cooked and it tastes like maybe there is a little dill flavoring in it, idk, but it gives it a really nice edge. The mac and cheese noodles were also perfectly cooked and the cheese was very creamy. The Milton Burger was a really good hamburger on a good bun. I definitely recommend Saucy's and I will be back!
