We were really looking forward to oysters, and were slightly concerned when our server didn’t bother writing down any of our order. Anyway, soup came, but no oysters before the main meal. They were very apologetic and comped us a piece of key lime pie, but still, gosh, I was really looking forward to those oysters. Excellent island vibe. Kinda noisy. Be sure to get your picture with the pirate. Urrr!

5 Via De Luna Drive SUITE B, Pensacola BeachI’ve been bringing my family to Pensacola for years but for some reason we never tried Red Fish Blue Fish till tonight. It’s absolutely my new favorite restaurant! One of my standard favorite dishes for Fall Break is peel and eat shrimp and they really hit it right! They’d been steamed or boiled in a flavorful seasoning that was still clinging to the shrimp and then the cocktail sauce was just out of this world! The crab and shrimp rolls with fries were also way better than I expected. My wife had the flounder piccata and the kids both had shrimp tacos. Every one of us left fully satisfied and thrilled with the quality of the food and service and the atmosphere was amazing to boot! Don’t skip this one!

Fish Heads Pensacola Beach
16 Via De Luna Dr, Pensacola BeachI needed a reset on a Sunday afternoon so I headed to Fish Heads for a quick lunch. Their grouper fingers were fried perfectly and the quantity was a meal for a single person. The covered deck was a great place to eat and journal a few thoughts while looking at the beautiful gulf. My server was both beautiful and kind. She allowed me the time to sit and reflect while I munched and drank tea. I left satisfied and ready for the balance of my day.
