“Good 'ol Ace, the forefather of hardware stores. The people that were working were super nice and helpful. I only needed some Sheila Shine. Which is the heavy weight champion of stainless steel polish/ cleaner. I was shown the way to what I needed right away. Paid and was on my way in a couple of minutes. Ace is truly the Place!!”

“I purchased EGO batteries that were buy one, get one free. That’s an awesome price, because EGO products are, almost always , excluded from % off or $ off sales. The BWB store only had one and the Niceville store had the other one. The person, I believe Linda, who rang up the sale took my info to call me when the free battery came in. She wrote every detail about the battery down and, correctly, wrote my info. She thanked me for my military service and was very professional and courteous. Then, John the Store Manager got the note to call me. I asked if the Niceville store might have the other battery. John called them and they had it and put it on hold for me (John even said he would send someone to bring it to BWB). I was going that way, so, I said I would pick it up. When I got to the Niceville store the guy behind the counter knew where my battery was, was very friendly, and, even held the door for me when I went out. I felt like I might have a strange look on my face like I was not feeling well or something to get such outstanding service at both local Ace Hardware stores. Thank you, Ace Hardware employees, you started my day off, happily!”

In this case, I needed a lock box key made and was not willing to pay $10 for it to be ordered at the self-service machine at Walmart. Here it was 2 for $5 and done as I waited. Thank you, guys. “I highly recommend this place, especially for some DIYs. I needed a small sprinkler system for my flower beds, Mr Ken set me up for it. This is gonna be my 2nd year using the springkler system and its working great! even on that rare snow days here last winter. I also had a problem with Torpedo grass, they recommended product and it had worked magic! These guys are best.”

“I must say, Michele and Melton were lifesavers! These two employees went above and beyond to help me with my purchase of patio chairs. They kept me informed as they located the chairs in boxes, had to move other merchandise to free up space to retrieve the large boxes from the top shelf in the garden center, and as they navigated the best way to get them to my car. I might add, before Michele helped me, a separate employee (female) before her seemed too busy to help and suggested I buy the chairs online. Michele was a breath of fresh air and Melton was the hero to make magic happen. My sincere thanks to Home Depot and these two wonderful employees.”

From the moment she began helping me, she was friendly, genuine, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She has that rare ability to know exactly what she’s talking about while also making the entire interaction feel easy, enjoyable, and even fun.

Her knowledge is both broad and impressively precise, and you can tell she genuinely cares about helping customers find the right solution rather than simply pointing them in a direction. She went above and beyond, and her kindness and positive attitude really stood out.

Home Depot is extremely lucky to have Ms. Bobbie on their team. I sincerely hope her supervisors recognize what a special employee they have in her, because she absolutely deserves to be Employee of the Month. “RJ was very helpful on July 4, 2026 at 4 PM. He helped me in the garden section and usually I get worried that nobody’s gonna help me when I come to the store, but I bought a bunch of soil and other stuff for a garden bed and he loaded everything up and was very helpful and answered questions. I’m not used to getting such good service when I go to Lowe’s. I also had a good experience in the Lumber section. The men were very helpful there and then the lady at checkout in the garden section was also very nice around 4 PM.”
