“I would recommend Midflorida. It's pretty nice. Had some issues with my bonus and account opening that was a little hard to resolve but Ryan helped me and was very nice. My only complaint is that they don't use Plaid or a comparable 3rd party account linking service. Instead using the antiquated trial deposit verification method. Not a huge deal, but I would really like to see this functionality added soon. I recieve my DD to my Midflorida but I actually have another account I like to pay my bills out of. Now that it's linked, it's great but I'm hoping in the future I'll be able to link and initiate transfers the same day.”

“I came in today to cash my settlement check. When I walked in everyone lol I mean everyone greeted me. I’m not from down here and it really felt good to be welcomed like that. I wish everyone at my bank was like these staff. The manager had to come over as they got my cash and she held a conversation with me and helped me setup my GPS to get home. “I recently needed to open an estate account. After trying several banks in Winter Haven and Bartow, I went to South State Bank in Bartow (Winter Haven branch was useless). I had the pleasure of meeting Maria. She was wonderful! We went through all the documents I had, she let me know what I still needed, scanned what she could and waited until I was able to get the rest of the items. Once I was able to get them and give them to her, she opened the account. It was so easy working with her and she did it all with a smile and kindness. Thank you Maria!”

“I would guess the majority of people dread having to visit the bank, for any number of reasons. It has the stereotype of being stuffy, uncomfortable and typically unpleasant. But I have to say, this Combee Wells Fargo location is completely the opposite of that.
I’ve had to stop here for various reasons and it’s always been a pleasant experience. From stopping at the front desk for help to booking an appointment for an investment and advice, the workers here aren’t your typical lacking personality, unfriendly type. They’re pretty lively and always super helpful. Jose is the banker I’ve met with and he’s just a charm. Such a sweet and genuine person who wants to help advise in whatever way he can.”

“I have been with truist aka suntrust bank for 22 yrs with same original acct. I'm using a new branch bc we have moved back to area. I have met 2 super nice ladies so far that are very knowledgeable of banking. The lady today was Ms. JANET A. she helped us do something that we have never done before. Make a wire transfer. We got there at 4pm. And omgoodness what a fine, kind, sweet, knowledgeable person. She answered all my questions within looking at us like we should know this. She took the time to listen. Answered questions. Helped us get on our way. And I found out the wire got there already.!!!! Don't hesitate to talk to her in English or Spanish. She NOT A RUDE person. With soo many different people (nationalities coming into bank) She is sweet an kind with a smile that relaxed us. We are from the Tennessee state where we don't come across rude people. An I'm proud I met her. The bank has a good one here. A keeper. And she can spell out numbers like Eight or Three lol”
