“Great Service – Best Price Around
I searched the internet to find deals on oil change services for my car and was amazed at the price spread. I had local non-franchised places price $65 - $125 and a few of the franchised places came in at $45 - $55 with coupons. These were all synthetic blends, not full synthetic, oil filter, and check and top off fluids as needed. Then I found Walmart Auto Center on Pine Island Rd, North Ft. Myers. Prices on their website showed full synthetic Quaker State at $44.88, conventional Quaker State $24.88 and other options available. As I have found with so many other oil change places, they advertise a deal on oil changes and when you go to pay for the service they have added on things like Disposal Fee, Shop Supplies Fee, Recycling Fee, Just ‘Cause we Can Fee, etc. and it adds another $20+ to what you thought was a deal, making it no deal at all. So I called Walmart and asked what the price was out the door. The only add-on is sales tax. Great! I made a reservation on line over the weekend for Monday morning. Time slots are one hour slots. (Saturday was booked solid, no service Sunday.) Shortly after the booking, I received a confirmation via email and text. One hour before my appointment I received a reminder text message. I arrived at the Auto Center 15 minutes early as requested and there is a price menu board where you check-in and I see $24.88 for Quaker State Synthetic Blend. (My auto manual says blend is good.) A service person promptly checked me in and I went into the store to shop and kill time. I received a text immediately saying I was checked in and how I can follow the service. The next text message was to tell me service has started. Within 45 minutes or so, I got a text, email and call to tell me the vehicle was ready for pickup. Payment is done at the register in the Auto Department, they give you your keys and off you go. The receipt is stapled to the service report that has details on what was done. Tire pressure check/fill, battery test, etc. True as advertised, they topped off fluids as I knew my windshield juice was low and they filled it. I also checked the dipstick and oil level was exactly correct. I will use them for all future oil change services. Save your money, use Walmart.”
“I had an issue with my car battery, and Paula here checked and replaced the battery for free! She was kind, helpful, and very patient with us during our visit. I would 100% recommend this AutoZone to anyone, as well as Paula! She was great. Thanks, Paula!”
