“We have gone to multiple vet clinics in this area over the last 15years and this is the best place we’ve found. They’re fast, friendly, very professional, so compassionate, and they’ve taken all of our concerns and questions seriously, in a way I haven’t experienced at other offices. Obviously the cats don’t love a checkup, but they do love the cat rooms with the climbing tree and TV playing videos of birds, the churu bribes also really help. I am truly grateful for how seriously they have taken our cat’s health issues. They have been a major help in getting his ear issues under control, going farther than just treating the symptoms, but working with us to find the root of the problem. I think this was only our 5th or 6th visit with them, but I’m just so impressed and grateful every time I’m there, I had to leave a review. I’m really glad we switched over to this clinic.”

“Truly a wonderful animal hospital: transparent, caring, and polite! They helped with my daughter’s young cat who had just given birth to kittens a few days ago. I rushed in holding the mother cat as she was giving birth, with the first kitten literally landing in my hand. The staff quickly took her, placed her in a safe cage with bedding, and reassured me: “She’s doing great, just take her back home, and if there are any complications, come back.” They didn’t charge me for the visit and even let us keep the cage with bedding. Such kindness and compassion mean so much, thank you!”

“We've known Dr. Fridlund for quite a while. We started with her at another clinic and we we're glad to find her at this one. We've always enjoyed her cheerful spirit and her practical demeanor when we needed to discuss serious quality of life situations. She saw us through the end of life stages with our last Scotty, Montgomery when he was diabetic, deaf, blind and dementia finally set in. On an happier note, we just met with her for an introduction to our new pup, Graeme, at The Animal Medical Clinic of Gulf Gate. It was great to see her again under better circumstances and there's nothing like a pup to make everyone smile.”

They have helped with everything from routine visits and vaccines, to weird golden retriever-related digestive issues, to the random swallowed toy or sock (the dog, not us). We drive from out of town to come here because they are all so amazing.”

“Dr Kirsch and the entire staff are phenomenal. Our 5 yr old black lab has been struggling with a lame rear leg. MRI, x-rays showed no issues but a nodule in his hip. Diagnosis was not comprehensive as no seen issue that pin pointed his lamness. We took the nodele out, Dr Kirsch did all he could, carring, very, very thurough and went the extra mile for us. Thor is still recovering and working through rehab. 100% confidence in Dr Kirsch and staff.”

“Dr. Jack Landess is amazing! We moved to the area and had a vet back home for 10+ years so it was difficult to decide who to switch to. I loved the clinic and the front desk staff so figured why not. They are easy to work with, very reasonably priced, they have a lot of meds available at the clinic and a website with every med you could need plus an auto-ship option. They got my doodle on Numelvi which has fixed all itching issues I’ve dealt with for 10 years. Now my pit has some autoimmune stuff going on, which can be super complicated to my understanding. But Dr. Jack is knowledgable about that too! My pit is making progress with his recommendation. Thank you Nokomis Vet!”

“I was searching a long time for a veterinarian who knew the Akita breed and could perform a gastropexy and neuter on my Akita. There are not many Akitas where I live and the vets here said my Akita didn’t need a pexy. Dr. Browning was recommended by Sundara Akitas so I scheduled a consultation and drove 1-1/2 hours to meet with her. Dr. Browning was wonderful! She knows all about Akitas! She explained both surgeries in detail, covered the pre- and post-instructions, along with what to expect during recovery. I was so happy and relieved to have found an “Akita” vet. My big bear, Nobu, is scheduled for surgery soon and I am thankful he is in great hands!”

“I moved to FL in 2019 and started taking my dogs here because it is 5 mins from my house. I have been here for routine care, for critical care, and sadly for euthanasia. Recently, I have been here often for surgeries on my beagle who has terminal mammary cancer. I want to specifically say that Dr. Cliff Myburgh and Dr. Maria, their surgeon, have been absolutely amazing through my ordeal with my dog. I have probably called 2-3x each week for a few months and everyone has been responsive and gotten me in /given me what I have asked for quickly. Dr. Cliff goes out of his way to provide advice and suggestions. I also highly recommend Dr. Eva. The staff is wonderful as well and returns calls/emails promptly. It is not the cheapest place but finding a reliable vet is not easy to do and worth the cost.”
