“The staff are always professional. You can expect a line on Monday mornings. Parking is good. Prices are outrageous. The place is shabby and understocked . Federal government has been trying to privatize US Postal Service’s for eight years and I don’t like that. There used to be something called “public” services and that used to be considered a good thing. I still consider public services a good thing. I’d rather my tax dollars go to public services than to war.”

“I wanted to take a moment to recognize Ms. Shelby and Joe at the Coral Ridge USPS in Fort Lauderdale. They are genuinely two of the kindest human beings, and they deserve to be recognized for the service they provide every single day.
I visit USPS often to drop off my packages, and no matter how busy things may get, Shelby and Joe always take the time to greet me, help me as quickly and efficiently as they can, and still provide wonderful customer service.
I’ve seen some of the negative reviews for this location, and I think sometimes we forget that the people behind the counter are human beings too. They are federal workers who show up every day and serve hundreds of people, often while dealing with long lines, busy days, and customers who may not always extend the same patience or kindness they expect to receive.
This will always be my GO TO USPS location because of people like Mrs. Shelby and Joe. 🤍
Get to know your postal workers, your cashiers, your baristas, and the people you see regularly in the places you frequent. Say hello. Learn their names. Be kind. It makes such a difference.

“I rarely go to the post office, so everything about shipping is unknown to me. I asked the first employee about the process of shipping a very small item; she pointed towards a wall, and I think made a sound that matched her not so happy demeanor. Another CUSTOMER, who was very familiar with the process; helped me with just a few sentences AND a smile on his face. I headed to check out and was THRILLED to find another employee, Angela!! “I have been using this USPS location for almost two years. When I first started shipping here, I left a negative review because some of my customers received damaged packages. Looking back, I realize that it wasn’t the fault of this post office.
After almost two years of coming here regularly, I can honestly say that the staff is wonderful. Everyone is friendly, professional, and always willing to help. It is genuinely a pleasure to visit this location because I know everything will be handled quickly, and if I have any questions, someone is always ready to assist.

“I was torn between 3 and 4 stars. Lately, they have not had enough staff on the front during peak times. I do like the staff usually, but feel like they are stretched too thin and that can be exhausting for them and the patrons. The self help machine doesn't always function properly. The location is great and generally easy to find parking.”
