“My mother had purchased a 2015 Honda Pilot EX-L about 23 days ago from a small dealership near here. She obtained a 3 month or 3,000 mile warranty upon purchase. Thank Goodness! Her Alternator was causing problems and needed to be replaced! The total job was going to cost almost $700, fortunately the warranty covered the majority of the cost. This Garage was absolutely amazing, they got her car in the very next day, spoke with the warranty company, got the car fixed and back to her the same day, (we dropped it off the night prior). “Taylor’s is down a dirt road—but don’t let that throw you off. This place is the real deal.
I was referred here by another motorhome owner who had his transmission rebuilt at Taylor’s, and that alone gave me confidence coming in. Once I arrived, it was clear why—there’s a full operation here, with office staff and a large team of mechanics, all working efficiently.
The owner has been running the shop for over 40 years (and was a pilot!), and that level of experience really shows. They don’t cut corners or compromise on quality. They handle major rebuilds like engines and transmissions, but they’re just as thorough with standard services.
In my case, they took care of an oil change, helped me install my TireMinder system, and did a very detailed inspection of my motorhome—giving me clear notes on things like belts, brakes, and what to keep an eye on moving forward. That kind of insight is incredibly valuable when you’re traveling.
On top of that, everything was very reasonably priced.
It’s not always easy to find a shop you trust—especially on the road—but this is one I’d come back to without hesitation.
