“What best describes a Dollar Tree shopping trip? The store is always clean, though there might be stacks of product in the isles, waiting to be put on the shelves. What was here last time might have been sold out before this visit, so the "do they have..." questions are incredibly difficult to answer. Keeping in mind that a lot of their inventory is bought as close-outs of someone else's inventory and you begin to understand the "I don't know" answers. Even calling the store is trumped by going there. That all said, because I never know exactly what they will have, I love shopping here!!!”

“The book selection is mostly excellent, despite carrying some Christian nationalist propaganda. I love the children's book section.

Its a mix of actual deals and good junk that feels like a deal. Just like anywhere else caveat emptor, but its always fun shopping here.”

“Where else can you find Pocky Sticks and other hard to find candies, a mushroom themed t-shirt, phone case, hair gel, and even some dumbells for excercise? Yup, this place! I love how friendly the associates are. They always make sure youre finding what youre after. Its almost ironic because you never TRULY looking for something specific when going to 5 Below. You just wander around until you've found a potpourri of items in your cart. Great place to find gifts also!”

“Always has great finds! From tools & electrical to seasonal & appliances. Great customer service and they always want to help you find something you need. The only thing is you must check for complete sets and electrical functionality before you leave.”

“This isn’t your normal dollar store. A lot of the store is more than a dollar but this is a great store with some really good deals. They also have a lot of random stuff so definitely worth stopping in.”

I’ve been to probably six different ones and this one is a five star.”

“We ran in on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy, but enough. I love the look and feel of this store than the other store location on Dale Mabry. There seems to be more merchandise to choose from, and the setup is nicer.”

“Came through this Dollar Tree like I’ve done plenty of times before, but today Joshua at checkout was the MVP. Cool dude, solid attitude, and somehow made checking out at Dollar Tree feel like less of a errand and more of an actual human moment. We had a quick conversation — nothing wild — but the guy’s just naturally friendly without forcing it. The rest of the staff is fine, but Joshua’s got that “I actually like my job” vibe you don’t see every day. Five stars.”

“It was my first time visiting this store. I was amazing by the how much stuff you can find in this store and it's actually very big. I will definitely visit.”

“As much bad I loved Five Below when I first started doing there, I rarely see any different inventory. It's always the same 'stuff' over and over, unless it's something seasonal. The books are always the same. The home decor is always the same. Just looking for them to change things up a bit.”

“We have a history with snacks from Japan, and we struck gold with Daiso in Clearwater FL! This store advertises itself as a seller of Japanese household good, and we stopped in to see if they had any cute magnets we could get for a 2-year-old in the family. While we fanned out through aisles of kitchen and beauty products, useful gadgets and supplies, I went looking for snacks. I found wall refrigerators on the left near the front of the store filled with all sorts of beverages. I got a couple of canned and bottled coffee drinks, which we all agreed were nicely flavored and quite sweet. We got our favorite, Ramune: a mild tasty lemonade with a slight fizz. The bottle is unique, with a clear marble trapped in a little chamber that rattles when you drink or pour and is said to help keep the light carbonation longer. And it has a push-button top that you press in to open and to release the little ball into the bottle. I think the fun of opening it and hearing that rattle are a big part of the fun of drinking Ramune. There are several flavors, but we always get the original lemonade flavor. Nearby, I discovered a snack rack, and behind it there were at least two whole aisle-sections filled with every Asian snack and treat that I know! All flavors of Pockys! All flavors of filled Panda cookies! Crispy snacks with shrimp and fish and chicken flavors! And the candy from Japan that I look for everywhere, that is hard to find outside of Asian neighborhood stores in Chicago and NYC ... Botan Ame! It's little cubes of soft translucent rice-candy, very lightly flavored, and double-wrapped: the inner wrapper is melt-in-your-mouth rice paper! The flavor is said to be lemon, but only very mildly lemon orange (imitating pomelo fruit), very mildly creamy, very mildly rice-y. There are several flavors available, including strawberry or pomelo, but I've always gotten the original. It's gently chewy, originally meant to imitate the softness of caramel-candy, or you can try to wait and let the candy dissolve after the rice paper is gone, though i've never heard of anyone who waits that long before biting in :-). The closest candy texture that i know of is fresh soft Turkish delight. And similarly, Botan Rice Candy gets tougher if you leave it on the shelf a long time. I suppose it dehydrates a little. I read it was invented in 1924. Long ago we only saw the same candy called Tomoe Ame, and the brightly colorful red and green or red and blue box looked almost the same. Each box used to come with a little plastic or metal toy, but eventually that changed to temporary tattoos of cute cartoon characters. Nowadays I've seen Tomoe Ame in large bags, too, online. I was happily lost in the candy, snacks, and beverages, and have no idea what everyone else bought. I'm pretty sure we did come home with some stickers and magnets and maybe some little toys. I myself found my new source for good old rice candy! To (mis)quote Shakespeare, What's in a name? That which I call Tomoe Ame, by any other word would taste as (slightly) sweet :-)”

“This Dollar General location is a very convenient location to the neighborhoods and surrounding businesses. Although, it is a smaller Dollar General than most, they have a lot of the main conveniences of grocery, healthcare needs and baby items in stock.”

“Dollar Tree Rocks! I've shopped here for years for unexpected gift ideas, household items and quick snacks I'm not too happy it's not all $1.00 anymore $1.25 is okay but higher priced items pissed me off but overall I tell friends and enemies about how fun Dollar Tree is to shop at for all occasions...they carry Florida hurricane items also so do not overlook them for essentials...”

“The same manager is always working every time I go into this Dollar Tree to shop. She is always helpful and she is never just standing around, always busy stocking, cashiering or helping a customer.
The staff is always the same, not a high turn over rate another sign of good management. Keep up the good and consistent work.”
