“Great experience at Thorntons! The rewards program is one of the best features—they make earning points fun, and the discounts help save money on fuel and store purchases. The station is always clean, well maintained, and easy to access. The staff is friendly, professional, and willing to help whenever needed. The store is well stocked, the service is fast, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. It’s a convenient stop whether you’re filling up your tank, grabbing a snack, or picking up a quick drink. I highly recommend Thorntons to anyone looking for a clean, reliable gas station with excellent customer service and a rewards program that truly adds value. Keep up the great work!”

“Got a Polar pop and when young cashier realized I wasn't a member of their Circle K program which gives the customers discounts, she asked why I hadn't signed up. Told her I had tried but failed several times. She offered to help and slowly directed me through the whole process till I was successfully signed up. I was delighted! Just wish I had asked for her name so I could make sure she got the credit she deserves for her outstanding service. She made Circle K my go to gas station!”

“I stopped by here just before Hurricane Ian to get some gas. It was one of a few gas stations open. It was clean inside and not a bad place to get an item or two after filling up the gas tank.”

“Recently went to this Speedway to make a purchase. Without going into detail there was an issue with the purchase that was confusing for all parties involved. I ended up overreacting more than I care to admit (while the staff stayed professional and patient with me). I left my name and number and the manager reached out to me a few days later offering an apology for a mixup that happened with the purchase and a refund of my money. The whole transaction was handled incredibly well by the manager and staff and they have made themselves a customer for life in this guy! Forget that Circle K and fancy new 7-Eleven across the street, go to this Speedway!”

“I had an unexpectedly pleasant visit when I went to 711 on 7/30/26. Joy was the only employee working late at night. She was welcoming....said hello when I came in. She was doing busy work cleaning. We had a pleasant conversation....and there were laughs. I will make this store my go to stop on the way home after a long shift....and that's because there's an employee working who cares. Give her a raise 711!!! She's an angel.”

“One of the best stores in the area generally I work overnight shifts and the girl Vanessa that works overnights is able to create a great experience that most gas stations don't have generally knowledgeable about things that I want when I come in and ask rather than just having me go look which I really do appreciate. I'd give this a six star rating if I could, just because I definitely appreciate her great customer service. Give that girl a raise!! Or promotion!”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
