Deceptive Company"0" Star it is... I rented a car on August 30th... Orlando Airport..The windshield had a crack and we went back in the location after inspecting the car. The agent rudely said they know their cars and they have that already documented and that we do not need to do anything. However, we took pictures. upon returning the car the intake person was another obnoxious one and he said there is a crack... we told him it was there, he demanded we showed him proof which we did and he scrolled down to the details on the pic, saw the date and time and he said okay we are good. About 2 weeks later I was billed for an additional $850 + $150. The cowards at Advantage Rental Car won't take the calls and would email back instead. This is a very deceptive company and STAY AWAY... THE EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY SEEM TO LIVE OFF OF RIPPING CUSTOMERS OFF. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN AND NOT ABLE TO PRACTICE IN ANY BUSINESS. I refuse to have them get away with this. I just visited the location in person to speak to the manager and what do you know the manager is on the road and they called the General Manager on the phone, I spoke with him, showed the employees their dated and time stamped proof and they said would get back to me on monday.... still waiting... 5 days later. Called left messages .... crickets...

If I could give 0 I would! Terrible service!! Over charged my parents when I clearly said no extra driver or additional insurance was needed because I booked through another site all insurance. TERRIBLE!! Stay away!! $400 for 2 days ducked tape Nissan Altima! 0 star!

Like the other reviews, if I could give them zero stars I would. They only had two employees working at the counter, so the line was long and slow. Once I was helped, the final price out the door was more than double than what I was quoted online. In addition, they would not accept the additional insurance that I purchased through Expedia and I was forced to provide my personal insurance insurance and prove I had full coverage...as if I would lie about that. Once all of that was taken care of, I finally received my vehicle. Sadly, it was dirty and covered in water spots. When I asked for it to be washed, their third party vendor brought the vehicle back clean but it was soaking wet. When I asked the staff if they planned on drying the vehicle, I was told that the vehicle would air dry as I drove it to my destination. After speaking with a manager, I was offered an "upgrade" for all of my inconveniences. The upgrade too had water spots all over it and had a bit of a musty smell in the inside. However, after traveling all day with a small child and being stuck at their facility for over an hour, I was OVER IT, and took what was offered. (I lowered the windows while driving it the first couple of days to rid it of the smell). I'm now back from my vacation and their $250 security/deposit fee is still showing on my credit card. When I called and asked when the fee would be removed, I was told that they would refund the funds within 21 days...which I find to be wild.To sum up, the experience was very unpleasant and I would never rent from them again. Please learn from my experience and avoid them at all costs!

Well I'm waiting for a tow. Different people said nothing about timing. I may miss my flight because of the wait. Then they say a truck will jumpstart me. Oh hell no! This car is not safe! It shut down on the freeway. I am so frustrated right now. Two hours of waiting. Insane. No manager contacted me. I asked about them getting me a hotel & the last person was so rude, she hung up on me, "they're almost there."

If there was a way to give zero stars, I would. Advantage was the worst experience I've ever had. Not only did they discriminate against Florida residents by requiring additional paperwork (including proof of address or cancelling my reservation and charging a cancellation fee, I don't normally travel with my utility bill) they rude and claimed that I was did honest while checking in. I simply asked for a copy of the policy which they told me to find on the website. Awful.

Car was fine, but was given a lesser version of what was ordered.Aggressive upsell and additional charges. Rental ended up being more than 2x what was ordered online. Car also wasn't close to full when I got it.Reached out via phone and electronically and got no response.

Absolute garbage. I booked a car rental well in advanced of my trip - traveled to Orlando for work upon arrival (Friday) they tell me advantage is closed. That’s it. No further explanation. I’m stuck at the airport scrambling to rent a car or shuffle Uber’s around. I get a call Saturday mid morning offering for me to come back to airport and get a different car. Mind you now. I’m no longer at the airport. And i still don’t have a car. So I would be wasting more time and money getting to the airport to get the car i already paid for that i was told would be ready but was not. FURTHER - I never got a refund for the car i never got because these people couldn’t seem to be bothered to answer the phone. I’ve got voicemail receipt of your employee apologizing for selling me a car you guys apparently didn’t have. I also have receipt of sale. Maybe a manager or someone will see this and do the decent thing of actually offering me a refund for the product i never got.

As a company that was started and is headquartered in Orlando, FL. it is biased against FL residents. In order to rent, you must have two bills in your name, mailed to your address. You will also be expected to put down a $800 deposit on your card. What if you don't have bills in your name, can you pay an increased deposit? No. I don't have bills in my name, but I do have a CC with a lofty limit a 800+ credit score. I tried to go local. I paid a little more at Enterprise at MCO, but in and out in 10 min. and the service was amazing. I suppose tourist dollars, matter more than local money.

Friendly staff but definitely felt like I was being scammed. Pretty sure the customer service reps gets some type of bonus or commission so they try to add a lot of fees without you knowing. Best advice would be to ask questions and read your contract. Oh, the car was in a okay condition. Would’ve been better if they took the time to dry the car off properly, the water stains on the mirrors and windshield really annoyed me.

They s place is the worst place I’ve ever been to SCAM. I have rented cars for years and never had an experience like this l. After returning the car they tell you that you need to hurry up and get on buss bicycle to terminal.They looked over car and said everything looks good and you won’t be charged anything else. After we got to the terminal they charged our card $550 because there was sand on floor of car. You call the number because you know you just got scammed and absolutely terrible customer service and zero help. Next we tried calling the Orlando branch that screwed us and they do not answer you go to leave a message and never call back this completely ruined our vacation we paid over 1100 for a rental car. We have reported to the better business bureau and waiting a response.

This company advertises extremely low prices and once you’ve arrived to get your rental, they spring all these additional mandatory fees and charges on you. They also did not give us an equivalent car to what we had rented and subsequently charged us more for the car we actually got (even that was what our reservation included).Tried calling to make sure we had a clear process for the return and they didn’t answer their phones nor return my call as their voice message indicated.The process was tiresome, the staff had no urgency and just don’t seem to care about customer service.Would definitely avoid them at all costs.

After having a horrible experience at a pervious rental company and cancelling my reservations. I quickly looked up the next best thing and Im so glad I picked this place. I had the pleasure of being helped by Mohamed who provided exceptional customer service. He was very clear with instructions and really looked out for me. Every visit to Orlando I will come to this place with hopes of getting the same experience thank you Mohamed you were truly the greatest.

I had a very quick, easy and painless experience here. My car has a flat that has it in the shop due to my specific tire not being in stock. I tried a couple different rental car places. I got the car for a couple days, was in there for less than 30 min to get it and was out of there in 10 min dropping it off. I recommend this place. Great job.

I made a reservation online, however on arrival for my trip they refused to provide the rental to me. I am a Florida resident serving in the military and currently stationed outside Florida. However they refused to rent to me unless I could provide a utility bill showing residence, which I obviously would not have. the supervisor/manager was completely unable to correct the problem despite acknowledging that they should be able to rent to me. I will not rent from Advantage again. Otherwise, the rental site/desk is very far from the airport. You can get a shuttle but it's intermittent and shared with another company. The drivers of the shuttles were professional, friendly and competent. I cannot review the vehicle provided as they did not provide one. Customer service was middling at best. they weren't terribly friendly or understanding. the best they could offer me in compensation for a complete failure on their part was to refund my payment. I even had to wait for the return shuttle just so I could go to a more competent rental agency back at the airport to book a new rental. The only thing they have going for them is relatively low cost, assuming they actually hold up their end of the contract. I do not recommend renting from Advantage at Orlando. Its worth a few more dollars to ensure company competency and to be able to actually get to your rental quickly. I would leave 0 stars if possible.

I was concerned about this company after reading the reviews but, I've now used them two times in the last month without issue. The service and value has been exceptional. Wait times for the shuttle to and from the Airport have been quick and easy. Rental rates were a fraction of the big name rental agencies on-airport and, they were as advertised with no heavy sales pitch for added fees. Just bring a copy of your insurance policy with you. Cars are new and well maintained. Service personnel are excellent and informative. Randy was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
