Brilliant location and price, basic room but it honestly is enough if you are in town just to go to the Universal Studios.
Breakfast was ok, bed comfy, shower good. Would stay again

Good overall. Do please note that the hotel charges resort fees at checking plus a $100 fee for incidentals (per the front desk attendant).

I stayed there for three nights two weeks ago when traveling for state related business nearby. I really enjoyed my stay due to its convenient location, friendly staff and excellent service. Philip and the other gentleman (sorry I forgot your name) at the front desk are very patient and helpful. Philip knew what he is doing and took the time to help me remove state sales tax from my bill after my presenting of my state issued tax exemption card and ID. I definitely will stay there again when traveling nearby next time. Way to go, Philip and Team!

room and location weren't bad. When checking in, they told us our price but didn't apply our $100 gift card to the bill. Then after calling Best Western corporate, they had to call the hotel to make them apply the card to our bill. The worker then had to call the manager for authorization to do this and had to hold our gift card to make sure it went through. At check out, it was a fight for them to give the card back as they wanted to "keep it for their records". Also my daughter has extremely bad allergies to animals. We decided on this hotel as no pets allowed, that is except for their workers who had dogs walking around and chasing us down the hallway. When I made the comment to one of the workers about the hotel being no pets allowed, I was told "oh he is nice and that's no pets for customers who stay here"

Very rude staff in the front desk, unhelpful, rooms with old furniture, old pillows, I made the mistake of bringing family to stay in this hotel, but it's good I stayed with them,, so I know I won't go back there ir send anyone there..

All the staff is very attentive and the lady at breakfast is always very kind and keeps everything in order and clean you have to give her a 100% in efficiency and treatment.

Very bad experience, the hotel is old, a lot of old smell and you can't stay in the rooms. Cockroaches appear in the rooms.
The mattresses are very bad, and it has a sofa bed that is impossible to sleep on. The pillows are tiny and very bad.
The bathrooms are acceptable.
Super basic breakfast, 2 crazy things and nothing else.
The location is not bad, but it is not necessary to be close to the parks, there are better hotels for the same price within 2 miles.

We checked into room 110. We were a bit worried about noise because it was located right near the main lobby and breakfast area. Not.a.sound. Not sure how they soundproofed the doors and wall so well. Would love to know their secret for our home! The checkin process was seamless and rooms were very clean. The only aspect of the room we did not care for was the carpeting. It really needs to go. It smells and is obviously old. Other than that, our stay was flawless. We enjoyed the empty nature-esque pool and the breakfast bar. The lobby was perfect for our children to complete their online classes without any disruption.
The parking area seemed very safe and has a Korean Hot Pot, Sushi Restaurant and a Walgreens all in walking distance. If you get a hankering for ice cream there is a Twistee Treat not too far away too. ^^
The staff was so courteous and kind. We will definitely be back!
The remote quit working on us. But we do not really care for television. The lobby has a kiosk for purchasing snacks & drinks. There is a free shuttle to a theme park early am. They also have a nescafe coffee machine at the breakfast station. (All Best Westerns seem to be getting these now.)
** TIP **
If you are not a Best Western rewards member, definitely become one.
If you already are a member, do not forget your welcome bag with free bottled water.
The lobby is loaded with brochures and in some cases, discount coupons.

We stayed here exactly a year ago and they were doing extremely loud construction, it seems to still be ongoing. There was also no water for a day which was highly aggravating. For a one night stay it isn't bad but if you feel like sleeping past 9, not having to yell to be heard or taking a shower I'd check out another hotel.
