Wow this is seriously great Ethiopian food...in Orlando! Go figure!
I'm in town allll the time for business and typically stick to Latin or Cuban food for delicious meals. But after 9 days, I was a bit tired and decided to branch out, having always loved Ethiopian food growing up.
Came with a group of friends. The decor inside is really cute - it takes you to another place and so much information on the walls really seeks to teach you about Ethiopian culture. I love that!
Our waitress was really helpful in explaining all the different types of food and sides to our friends who were unfamiliar with the cuisine. All of our dishes were so good. We ran the gamut from the vegetarian platters to the tartare (which they offer to cook slightly if you don't want fully raw beef - and IS spicy).
Delicious injara, such good food, and even nice baklava for dessert if you want.
I will be returning when in Orlando and recommending to my friends who also come through with frequency.

Definitely worth a visit!
Went there for dinner tonight. While they do not offer anything special for kids nor did they had crayons or something similar, the food is excellent! We enjoyed a meal for two and started with Sambusas. Both were really tasty. Half of it spicy.
Service was attentive and you could easily go without having a reservation. Something we could not understand given the quality of the food (not to mention the price as it was one of the most affordable meals we have had since we arrived in Orlando!). Might be that people don't know about Ethiopian Cuisine...

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants you could ever come to to have a meal. Prices are great and the food taste even better. Service is outstanding and the portions are perfect. You can find no better place to eat regardless of the kind of food you're looking for.

So not gonna lie, I have NO idea what we ate or the names of it. All I can say is - delicious, unique and an immersive cultural dining experience!
We ordered a platter style to share amongst friends and we had a large group. We were seated at a private dining both with ottoman style seats.
Food arrived after a bit, it's all made fresh so be patient and order and appetizer if you're super hungry. There are no traditional utensils here. The style is very much finger food. You'll use the bread the for is served in to pull off a portion and scoop up some of the meats into it.
If you like strong coffee, give theirs a go! It's strong and super rich. A great cap off to dinner and customary for the culture.
Something completely outside the normal box for Orlando foods and a must for and explorative foodie!!

Favorite authentic Ethiopian food. Very clean and family friendly restaurant. Great for dates as well! The staff is amazing, very greeting and welcoming. Always a must to get some coffee after your meal.
