I was in a real predicament when sleep galleria went out of business and an order I had already paid for was not delivered because sleep galleria had not paid the manufacturer. I worked with the manufacturer and Calvin, who is an authorized Palliser dealer, to get the recliner I had ordered and have it delivered to my house in Miami. Calvin was incredibly helpful and responsive to everything I needed throughout the process and continually checked in with me to provide updates and ensure that the delivery went smoothly. It was a great way to buy Florida themed (and some Italian themed) souvenirs for my friends and family that were more genuine than another shell or shark tooth. “I ❤️❤️❤️ this boutique. I stumbled upon in when driving home one day. The name is Maco Made in Colombia. It’s in Gulf Gate (Sarasota). The owner is a treasure. The store is bright and colorful. My eyes kept jumping from one beautiful thing to the next. There is handmade jewelry, handmade hats, dolls, purses, bowls, the list goes on. I absolutely recommend a visit to the store.As an extra bonus, they do events like Salsa dancing, wine and cheese, empanadas tasting, just to make a few. “When I first walked into the Rustic Rooster I was greeted with a warm welcome. ALWAYS a good start for me since I have been in customer service for over 35 years and feel like it is no longer the most important piece for most businesses anymore. I am someone who is going to get into restoring and painting old furniture and had questions regarding paints, techniques, and general questions after watching hours and hours of Youtube. Rose was so kind in answering all of my questions and suggested a paint class she was putting on that weekend so I could learn even more about why she uses Annie Sloan paint and how it can be used with the right techniques. Annie Sloan paint was the one I was leaning toward after my own research so I signed my husband and I up for the class. If you are looking for a fun, interactive, learning experience with your partner this is a great class to take. Rose is very knowledgeable and most of all, she is KIND. She has been in the business for many years and she wants all of the artists that walk through her door (and more) to succeed in whatever project they are working on. “Pelicans and Flamingos was a great store to find that unique and unusual item for your home. They had many beautiful pieces of art and furniture that was very tropical and Floridian. My only issue was with the very high prices of most everything there.”
