“Right from the first moment we met Calvin, we felt a confidence that he was genuinely interested in helping us purchase exactly what we wanted. Never any pressure; we felt like we were buying from a friend. Through numereous delays, completely beyond Calvin's control, he was always available and ready to answer our questions. The best furniture purchase experience we have had in over 55 years we've been making furniture decisions together. Plus, the price was great! Highly recommended...this gentleman deserves your patronage.”

“Exceptional Italian Craftsmanship Coppola Artistic Ceramics represents the very best of traditional Italian artistry. Each piece is beautifully hand-painted with vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and timeless Mediterranean charm. The quality is outstanding—solid, well-balanced, and finished with a glossy glaze that highlights every detail. From the richly decorated table to the stunning fruit-themed plates and elegant ceramic pitcher, every item feels like a true work of art rather than just décor. These pieces bring warmth, character, and authentic Italian style into any space, whether indoors or outdoors. You can truly see and feel the passion, heritage, and craftsmanship that go into Coppola’s ceramics. They are not only functional but also conversation pieces that elevate the entire setting. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fine Italian design and handmade excellence.”

“Walking into Rattan Wicker & Cane in Venice, Florida feels less like entering a retail store and more like stepping into a beautifully curated sanctuary. The showroom achieves a rare, poetic balance. It seamlessly merges a nostalgic, vintage Florida soul with a sharp, modern sensibility. The organic textures of intricately woven bamboo, seagrass, and classic cane echo the timelessness of coastal living. Yet, the sleek silhouettes and contemporary layout prove that these natural materials belong firmly in the modern home. It is a poignant reminder that true style doesn't chase trends—it endures. What truly elevates this long-standing local staple beyond its beautiful furniture is the deep sense of human connection provided by the staff Kathy and Diane greet you with a genuine warmth that immediately makes you feel at home, intuitively sensing whether you need space to browse or a guided hand. These fine ladies possess a brilliant eye for design, taking the time to listen to your vision and offering thoughtful, attentive advice without a shred of sales pressure. Woody anchors the experience with his incredible knowledge and dedication, ensuring that every practical detail is handled with absolute care in procuring new inventory to unleash onto your senses. In an era dominated by cold, mass-produced online shopping, this local showroom stands as a testament to the beauty of tactile craft and genuine hospitality. You do not just leave with furniture; you leave with a piece of the warm, sun-drenched Venice spirit.”

“When I first walked into the Rustic Rooster I was greeted with a warm welcome. ALWAYS a good start for me since I have been in customer service for over 35 years and feel like it is no longer the most important piece for most businesses anymore. I am someone who is going to get into restoring and painting old furniture and had questions regarding paints, techniques, and general questions after watching hours and hours of Youtube. Rose was so kind in answering all of my questions and suggested a paint class she was putting on that weekend so I could learn even more about why she uses Annie Sloan paint and how it can be used with the right techniques. Annie Sloan paint was the one I was leaning toward after my own research so I signed my husband and I up for the class. If you are looking for a fun, interactive, learning experience with your partner this is a great class to take. Rose is very knowledgeable and most of all, she is KIND. She has been in the business for many years and she wants all of the artists that walk through her door (and more) to succeed in whatever project they are working on. From beginner to experienced you will find what you are looking for at the Rustic Rooster. ~Terri”

“I absolutely love The Nest in Venice! Regina is so sweet and welcoming, and every time I’ve visited has been such a wonderful experience. The clothing and items are beautiful, unique, and many support local artists and artisans in other countries working to rise out of poverty. Such a meaningful and inspiring boutique — can’t recommend it enough! ?”

“This is one of my favorite shops in Venice. So many beautiful things packed into a small space! I’m a big fan of large fish floats for my tiki room, and they have a great selection for very reasonable prices. The customer service is excellent too. The owner actually called me when they got more blue floats in, because I have to drive a couple hours to get there. I really appreciated that!”

The woman who owns this lovely shop; went out of her way to look at photos of my home, and help me select items that would work for specific spaces that I needed help styling. When I went home it all fit perfectly, her eye for my aesthetic was so on point. Can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you!!”
