I always drive a bit further out to use this post office. It’s quieter with less of a wait time and less traffic on the access road. Staff are always pleasant. Just be aware they close a bit earlier.

Osprey postoffice is the one post office in Sarasota area where they wait on you quickly. The other post offices are so very slow. The Osprey post office workers change over a year. Buy I would say they have mostly been very helpful and pleasant. Seems like the impatient clerks get moved off the counter. But I have used this post office for 9 years. I find the staff trained to be curious and helpful.

Literally the WORST experience I have ever had. I will save the lengthy story, because I already sent in a complaint. But the woman CHRISTIE was absolutely horrible to me yesterday! I was verbally attacked, and when I went back in afterwards to report the incident and asked for a Manager, the woman "Jill" said she was the Manager. I started to tell her about what had happened and she had ZERO interest in even listening, to the point where she actually shrugged her shoulders! These public servants are some of the rudest, and angriest people I have ever encountered. I will NEVER go back to this post office, and I would advise to everyone - go somewhere else, unless you want to encounter hostile, horrid people. It costs nothing to be nice to people. And if you hate people, why, on God's earth, and are you working in Customer Service?! I was shook after my experience there! Words of advice, stay away from these awful people!

Always rude and nasty. Every single time I’m in here I witness this, especially to the elderly. The canned generic welcome appears friendly at first, but as soon as you deviate to a question, the nastiness comes out. I see many reviews with the same issue, however, government employees will never be held to a standard, so I guess it doesn’t matter. Just now there was a little wait, which is expected during the busy season. An employee told a gentleman sorry for the wait to which he replied I don’t have a choice, joking manner. Employee smartly uttered “ Well, you can always go someplace else”. Horrible place.

Some of the most unpleasant employees I've ever encountered! Today, I watched one employee berate an elderly woman because she didn't know the correct terminology for mailing books. I was hoping this was one of those scenarios where I was being pranked, but I've given up hope after a dozen interactions.
