“First of all, I am a customer service proffessional in upscale dining and I always appreciate and acknowledge impeccable customer service skills when I encounter them.
Well, I had a special request and needed some space for only a week.
After two short and unsavory phone conversations with two other local storage companys here in DeLand, I thought to myself, surely, there is a competent professional that represents a DeLand storage company that will just listen to my simple but special request for some space to rent for a very short time, one week.
A good friend suggested MorningStar, that they were great, very clean, and accommodating.
Time was of the essence, and so I called MorningStar and talked to Lisa, and what a breath of fresh air it was to communicate with a competent customer service professional.
Lisa was very friendly and informative on the phone, and she listened to my entire special request and was incredibly accomodating.
She truly went above and beyond what the two other local storage companies would even consider.
Considering the competitive prices of storage units today, Lisa was able to accommodate me and save me money at the end of the day.

They have cameras, they had ample lights outside that worked and even the units have lights inside, at least mine did. “Millie was the best! I had not had a good start to my day due to imbeciles that can’t respect speed limits inside a 20 MPH HOA community, so I was super frustrated to say the least. As soon as I walked in the office, she felt my frustration through my tone of voice and comment and reminded me that it was a good day, because at least, we were alive. She made a very good point, so that helped me shift my demeanor to a less frustrated one. She then told me about how someone had rear ended her car the night before and that it could have been worse, so that definitely put my problem into a different category. The no problem category. ?. Needless to say, Millie was super cordial and very accommodating, because I was 30 minutes late due to my early morning incident. She gave me plenty of time to bring back the cargo van and even after bringing it back 25 minutes late, due to another issue we had with the appliance we were picking up, she was super chill. I was very happy with the entire experience, from making the reservation to my interaction with Millie, so I’m definitely renting again from this location. Thank you Millie! You are DA BEST!”
“Raj Budhai, the Customer Service Manager, is absolutely wonderful! Our old car was having problems that our mechanic couldn't diagnose, and (even though it wasn't HIS problem) Raj worked REALLY HARD to help us fix it! The rental car was excellent, and Raj and his associates couldn't have been more helpful! Very highly Recommended!”

“Starting the review with saying both Raj and Eric are amazing humans who do try to help. Raj showed me the ropes on how to use the vehicle as I hadn’t driven a fully electric one at this time. They got handed a weird lot and sometimes in retail / customer service industries that can be bigger deal.The car itself, wasn’t my cup of tea -there was a little delay as to which location and just finding charging stations ??♀️Although, the experience was educational and I’d probably never have driven a tesla otherwise.It’s easy to be frustrated, just remember that customer service isn’t for the faint of heart.
