“I took my cat to Shaffer Animal Hospital for a general check up. I had no wait time, I was brought into a room as soon as I walked through the door. I had not worked with Dr Whitt and her assistant previously and found them kind, knowledgeable, caring and personable. They did not try to push anything on me or rush me. They listened to my concerns and the latest history of my cat. I hope I don't have to go back anytime soon obviously. I do reccommend this office especially Dr Whitt.
Also, Brittney was a huge help in scheduling my appointment.
I must also say that I have worked with Shaffer Animal Hospital for 40yrs beginning when they were on East Colonial Dr.”
“Frantic to say the least when my dog was not acting like himself after already being on an antibiotic for kennel cough. However I found this office and Dr. Dempsey was empathetic and compassionate. She educated me on his behavior and what next steps we need to take for him. Im happy to say my max in less than 24 hours is up and running around and eating even with his cough as that does take time to heal. Naomi the tech was so sweet, she didn’t miss a beat of my dramatic monologue since rescuing max in the last 3 weeks as I didn’t want to leave anything out just in case it was his cause for illness. Anyhow I’m glad we brought Max here, thank you for helping our boy!”

“I have been taking my cat to this vet for the last 2 years since I got her. The front desk staff is friendly and quick to check you in. The vet techs are polite, patient and very knowledgeable. My cat doesn’t like the vet and gets very shy when I bring her there, but they are always so good and gentle with her.. I recommend this vet to everyone!”
“We recently just had to put down our 18 year old family cat and this clinic was beyond amazing through the entire process. Sean especially was so supportive and helpful through it all.
We had him cremated and they call to let you know when the ashes are ready so I asked if they could call and just say “the eagle has landed” and the woman on the phone did not disappoint!!!! She understood the assignment and then some. It was a nice way to help my mom giggle through such a rough time. I can not say enough great things about the staff here.”

“Brittany groomed my Australian Shepard and she did a phenomenal job. My dog can be a little anxious and worrisome and Brittany is so patient and kind with her. She cleaned up her wispys and deshedded her really well while still maintaining the Aussie look. I HIGHLY recommend any pup or kitty owner with Brittany! Petsmart is lucky to have Brittany ! :) Thank you!!!
I would also like to recommend Sam in the fish department. She saw me looking at all the fish and asked me if I needed any help. I told her about my current aquarium set up and she gave me a good run down of the type of fish that would be best for my tank, what heater I would need for my larger tank, and she also recommended what filter I would need. She was so kind to share all this knowledge! Thank you!”

“If there was more than 5 stars available to give, I would. The whole team in Alafaya are just amazing and so caring towards their patients. Dr. Quiñones went above and beyond to deliver excellent care to my Kahlúa. She had to stay a few days and Dr. Q really quickly noticed she liked hiding under her towel (just like she does at home) and so they would always made sure she have extra towels in her kennel to feel comfortable and safe. I would get constant updates and this really cute picture I’m posting with my review. This little detail made me see and feel like they genuinely care not just for their patient’s health but their well-being as well. My Kahlúa could not have been in better hands.”
