“Hello! I just wanted to share a perfect experience with Trident Home Loans. The short version is I had ZERO issues, everything happened on time or early, I had excellent advice, I was kept up to date on all the information I needed, it was easy to upload and sign my documents, my realtor had a seamless experience, and I got a great rate on my loan!
The long version is I would like to thank Chris Hayter and Mena Caballero. Chris is the reason I was even able to buy a house. Because of the economic environment at the time, I didn’t think I could afford to move out of my apartment, but Chris crunched the numbers for me and showed me how it would work. He recommended using a VA loan and even helped me start the process. He checked on me every now and then to see if I needed anything, and in the meantime, he even got a temporary authorization to operate as a loan officer in my state since I was the first person he worked with from Arizona. I was dragging my feet a little bit because of a lot of different things going on but hearing from Chris now and then kept me motivated to see the process through.
Once we got the ball rolling, I was introduced to Mena who did the rest of my processing. She was always available, and I had almost instant responses to any of the questions I had. If at any point my realtor had questions or needed information, I would contact Mena and have an answer right away. She was fun to talk to and she made the tedious process of gathering information, uploading documents, and signing forms as pleasant of an experience as it could be.
A while back I tried to buy a house using a “big bank”. The deal fell through because of a termite inspection which had nothing to do with the bank, but the experience was night and day compared to working with Trident. I was frustrated with the automated call center, it was difficult to get in touch with the people I wanted to talk to, and I didn’t feel like I was working with a team of people that had my back. It was more like working with a machine that runs on wasting your time. Trident was the complete opposite. I felt like I had two friends who just happened to be experts in their fields working with me every step of the way. I could call or txt or email them anytime and not have to place a single “1-800 number” call, spending stressed hours listening to hold music, or have to worry about waiting until the next business day between the operating hours of “not super convenient” when I was worried about making a deadline.
So, THANK YOU CHRIS, THANK YOU MENA, THANK YOU TRIDENT! It was a real pleasure, thank you for making this whole thing easy, and I look forward to working with you in the future!

“Most of PenAir’s products beat out the competition. Their 4% high yield checking account is practically unheard of. You definitely won’t get that at the big banks or even most online banks. They could however use a better rewards credit card. 1 point on all purchases is not too exciting. You can get a better card practically anywhere else. But I still like PenAir.”

“We do banking here also, this is hubby's favorite bank he loves it. This is also the best place to go to the ATM in Pensacola as there are always Police Officers sitting in their cars and/or standing around by the front doors and ATM's. So it's a madhouse to get cash here. There is always a line for the ATM's & drive-thru & not much parking. We constantly have to make the block to get a parking space. We like the Police officers Presence just need a bigger parking lot. Will Return, after we make the block again...”
“Amanda Chapa for several years has been helping, advising and literally walking me through steps to help me navigate paying bills “ on line”. That tells you how old I am and not computer savvy. Not only is she patient but genuinely concern I understand different banking terms etc! My husband and I have used Pen Air since he was working at NAS in the early 80’s. I went in to have an appointment and God blessed me with Amanda; my husband had developed short term memory loss and bounced many checks, pen air was wonderful.
