First, let me say that we have boarded our dog at PLDR several times and have not had any health or other issues. However, this last time - during the week of February 12, 2024, after we picked up the dog, he started having digestive issues. We have had an expensive run to the Animal Specialty & Emergency Center (great facility and staff) where they could not identify the problem after an exam...parasites have been ruled out. They put him on some probiotics, and we have changed the diet for now. Our pet is still not right, we will have to run him to the vet again for some comprehensive blood tests. Putting this out there as we are stumped as to what has happened. If anyone else is having similar issues after boarding with PLDR, let them know. In our case we are wondering if it was contact with another dog with unidentified/unknown issues?

462 Martin Rd #105, Palm BayWe have a very driven 1-year-old German shepherd male named Ripp that we were able to do some training with. However, we are so busy with our two young children and working full-time. After much consideration, we finally decided to do the two week board and train. Kendra was Ripp’s trainer and she is just amazing! Ripp stayed with her in Vero Beach for the two weeks at her house. Kendra worked him daily out and about and sent us daily videos. We had many concerns including reactivity to other dogs and being able to have Ripp better under control. Kendra is so patient and so lovely to communicate with. She really listened to us about our concerns and focused on steering Ripp in the right direction. We were able to take him on our week-long vacation to a mountain lake and have him out and about with us. It was unbelievable to see the progress she made with each day! Ripp is extremely intelligent and Kendra challenged him and gave him a job to do so he gets the stimulation he needs! She gave us the tools and tips we need to continue working with Ripp and also training ourselves! Thank you for EVERYTHING, Kendra!!

Fresh made to order AYCE sushi, rolls, and other items like tempura, appetizers, soups, rice and noodles. The fish was fresh tasting and delicious! The best was the pepper tuna. The sauce that came with it was amazing! Tracey, our waitress was excellent! I will definitely be back and I hope it keeps up the great quality and service!
Edit 3/18/26: I've been back multiple times and the food and service is still great. I've honed in on my favorites now so I indulge on the eel, white fish and peppered tuna.

I quickly loved the staff as they were always so kind and started recognizing me when I would mobile order. Since then, this is the only Starbucks I order from (going the opposite direction sometimes) because they never get my order wrong and are so friendly. The staff has gotten to know me personally and asks how my family is unprompted as I’ve experienced hardships. No matter how busy they are, they always have the time to say hello. They have become apart of my morning routine and I am grateful to have this community.
