They were both in dire need of a good grooming and Shannon did a wonderful job with very little notice. My usual groomer has never even taken my dogs on such short notice! Thank you Shannon for taking them. You are so personable and kind, it was a pleasure to meet you and I will be seeing you again when we move there in the near future.

I went here with some friends on our senior
grad vacation and it has been one of the highlights of our trip. The pricing is fair and well worth it, especially considering that the portions are immense and many of the seafood meals come with hush puppies,
fries, AND fried okra. My entire group needed to-go boxes!
Most notably, the atmosphere and service here is among the best I’ve ever received. The staff here truly treat you like family and are quite diligent at their serving duties. Our server, Cody, was phenomenal. She gave constant refills so that no one ever had an empty cup and served us with a lively, amiable personality. Near the end of our meal, she brought us all complimentary slices of lemon cake. It tasted so well that my friends joked at my excited reaction, causing me to laugh until tears. Seeing this, another worker (Manager or owner, I believe.) brought me another, larger slice for free. The service here is what all restaurants should strive for! It is welcoming, social, and friendly.
Overall, this restaurant offers a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I’ll recommend it to everyone coming down to Gulf Shores. I ordered the Dixie Chik Po’Boy and my group ordered various seafood items. Each meal comes with a good portion of sides and a large entree. My friends spoke highly of the seafood, especially its tenderness and seasoning. Also, Fish River Grill has complimentary cups of their Swamp Soup that come out after drinks. It’s a mix of greens and beans, and is very tasty and light. Their unsweet tea was pleasantly surprising, as many restaurants’ unsweet tea is often sour and awful. Theirs, however, was not!
If you are looking for a nice place for some seafood or sandwiches, then please try out this place! There was no wait even for my group of six at 2PM and the service was quick and efficient. You will love going here with the whole family!
