The Gulf
27500 Perdido Beach Blvd, Orange BeachWas recently out and about on the water and saw this place on the shoreline. The astetics looked really nice from the water so decided to give this place a try.
The atmosphere is really nicely set up with plenty of photo opportunities available. There are two different areas to order your meals (or at least two places I saw). You order your food kind of fast food style and upon the completion of your order they give you a tracker to sit at your table of chose and then they will bring you your food. The food is al a cart style which is great if you know what you would like to pair with what.
The food was absolutely delicious. There are several things to choose from on the menu. Mainly seafood based main courses but a few items like salad and burgers you could choose from as well.
If your looking for a place with a nice outdoor atmosphere I would recommend this place. If you don't like being outside in the heat or sunlight I would recommend getting there early to find shaded seating or go when it's cooler outside as this establishment is a place where you seat yourself.

I ordered the pancakes and bacon, and both were excellent. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.
The ambiance was beautiful, eclectic, and very welcoming. It's located in a great area near downtown, which made it a perfect stop while exploring Orange Beach. Everyone in our family enjoyed their meal, and we all agreed we'd definitely come back the next time we're in town. I highly recommend 😊

The smoked chicken was amazing along with the sides. I had baked beans and the Mac and cheese. The smoked turkey was the best I have ever tasted. Hands down the hidden gem at the beach. You won’t be disappointed!!

When I made my order then my purchase I forgot to add some thing and the gentleman took care of it with no hesitation or charge. Everything we ate from breakfast to dinner was delicious. I really enjoyed the seafood options - especially the coastal shrimp appetizer and the blackened mahi entree. The atmosphere was laid back and there were puzzles and games for my kids to enjoy while we waited for our four. Liz provided top notch service. Highly recommend!
