“Very helpful and friendly. Showed me everything I needed and was able to answer any questions I had. The place has carts to load your stuff onto and provides anything else you need. Very useful place, especially to store college dorm supplies in over the summer.
(Edit) I just recently moved out of my storage unit for the start of the school year, and the move-out process was very easy. They immediately put in my move-out notice when I called ahead and I was able to complete the move-out process over the phone (since it was after hours). I had no issues and would use this place again if needed. Thank you for everything!”

“Great place, never had any issues other than the grace period for double locking you if you are a few days late on payment. They never did that to me but they threatened it for being a week late when I was on the road. That being said though, I've dealt with alot of storage that change rates without telling you and this isn't one of those. Very friendly and accommodating.”

“I have never used Extra space storage this is my first time and guys let me tell you that I am totally impressed. The staff is amazing, Will at the Palafox location In Pensacola, FL went above and beyond to assist me with help I needed and then some. He was thorough with explaining everything and was super funny and kind. All staff has been wonderful I mention Will because he is whom I delt with the most and he was attentive as one could possibly be and remained professional the entire time. The storage building itself was immaculate and clean, not one piece of trash or litter around the place, everything looked brand new. Shoot the grass appeared to even be well kept. You can definitely tell these guys do their jobs and we'll. I give them 5 strong stars and plan to do business for a long time with them and recommend them to anyone in need of storage in the Pensacola area. Great Job Extra Space storage. “We drove to Perdido from Georgia for the week for a family vacation. My dad towed two motorcycles down for him and my husband to be able to ride while we were on vacation. The condos we were staying at originally said we could keep the motorcycles on property by buying another parking space but once we arrived, they conveniently had no recollection of the agreement. This left us with no other way to leave the motorcycles or trailer throughout the week with a peace of mind that they wouldn’t be stolen or messed with. My dad called around and finally was able to speak to a sweet woman here who agreed to let me dad store his motorcycles and trailer there for the week. This saved him from having to go back home to take the motorcycles and allowed my dad and husband to be able to enjoy a nice motorcycle ride that week. She really showed us that there are still some good people in the world with a heart for lending others a helping hand. You can tell this company truly cares for its customers and they would be a pleasure for anyone to work with. Thanks again!”

“Extremely easy to rent online, got the code and the unit number and had zero issues getting in or out. They even have a circle lock vending machine in the office (which was extremely handy as it had completely slipped my mind). Four stars because there was a dead roach and a big piece of broken glass in our hallway, a couple of the lights are about to go out in our hallway, and there's a lip at the doorway (with a handtruck or dollies isn't impossible but is a huge nuissance when moving fragiles or heavies). Overall though I would recommend.”

“Location is convenient to downtown. Inside of the facility is clean and well lit (timer light switches upstairs). Safety features are good (security cameras and automatic locks on exterior doors). However, there is only one small "dumbwaiter" elevator only big enough for one small load of boxes or one piece of furniture at a time. Also, nowhere for a large truck or truck+trailer to park because the parking lot is VERY small (spots for about 8 cars), otherwise you're parking down the street and hauling all your stuff in.When I let my hubby (who's moving all the stuff from 12+ hrs away, since I came up early for work and to scout for housing) know the situation, he explained why this unit won't work for us (it would take HOURS to unload all our stuff with the tiny dumbwaiter), I immediately called them this morning to cancel our next month of the unit because we're simply not going to move into it. We rented on the 19th, I didn't see it until the 21st, and now I'm trying to cancel on the 27th. Apparently the "contract" (which is all small print, online), requires 10 days' notice....so they plan on charging me another $200 in rent even though we're not using the unit and have told them quickly that it doesn't work for us because they didn't disclose the issues with the location. The CSR kept making excuses for why this is MY fault (I should have "called sooner") etc. I called as soon as I could. They COULD take the $200 I've already paid for a unit I'm not using and say "thanks, sorry it didn't work out".... but instead, they plan on charging me again for next month, despite my notification before the end of my month, due to issues at their location (and despite having nothing in the unit.Very poor service. Very poor customer interaction. Do not recommend.ETA: Just received an email from manager/owner, Steve (not the name of person on phone) confirming they have zeroed my balance. Appreciate the fast and appropriate customer service result from him. I have changed my rating, as Steve, the manager, has been very helpful in fixing the situation.”
“I needed storage space for an upcoming move and was recommended to consider Public. Pretty easy process, all in all - I came on to the site and met with Kelsey, one of the property managers, who very kindly walked me around the property, and showed me a couple of units before I decided on one. She took the time to answer my questions and explain everything. The property itself looks pretty clean, and it wasn't extremely busy at the time that I came in.”
